Greatest Hype In this Chapter?

It may be the result of Luffy being forced to adapt to any danger since kids. His first training from Garp is literally being thrown to the wilds and adapting to wild beasts and environment himself, and Rayleigh put him in the same but upscaled environment. Luffy saw CP9 kicks ten times at the same time and he learnt Soru that way. He learnt about Kata's FS by adapting etc, it'll be much much better if his talent of adapting and learning is fleshed out to the max by Oda's built-up storytelling though. Maybe Luffy has a glimpse to it by previous fights against CoC users, maybe Rayleigh showed him a fraction of what Kaidou does in the chapter. Some stuffs like that so we know that Luffy's struggle to master this CoC stuff isnt instant. Kaidou just completes a huge part of the puzzle which becomes Luffy's final epiphany lol, something along those lines.
It is really hard to be into this narrative. If he is forced to adapt to danger, he needs to sense the danger and be careful what's coming, not just being extreme stubborn. In this case, it just likes he know he is the chosen one by Oda and that's why he can be like this. He can tank 200 blows from Katakuri or Ragnarok from Kaido if he wants to. He can imitate future sight, aCOA, aCOC in no time if he wants to. There is no other character got this special treatment. Even Yonkos who were hype so much are gonna turn into another Piccolo. Or Zoro, who Oda cherishes so much, needs to admit defeat or accept his limits.

Replace Ace with Luffy, do you think Luffy will be kept immobilized in Impel down? If not and you foresee Luffy turning impel down into training camp getting new skill, it means you understand plot armor I mentioned.

Interesting, you don't think Zoro used CoC with Ashura? Because every other time Kaido figured out about CoC was a CoC blast. In this instanxe its after an attack.
I think it's completely possible that he did. But we have to see Kaido's reaction to it, because the spoilers aren't making it look like Kaido is making it as big of a deal as it should be if he is telling Luffy only a very few people in the World can pull off what he can do.

That revelation should come when Zoro used it on him, not when he's explaining to Luffy what he himself did. I'd expect Kaido to be like "How is this possible, only a few people can the World can use CoC like this" after Asura is used with CoC, not pages later when talking to Luffy.

When you got a guy like Kid who struggled against a Pacifista but has still survived the New World after fighting 3 Emperors then Luffy's plot armor isn't that crazy or the very least isn't crazier than pre time skip, dude has spent more time training haki than being a pirate.

And then we have a narrative that a character will get much stronger when fighting tough opponents. Kid went through three Yonkos but look at Kids now compared with Luffy...
