What did Oldbeard do to just heavily suggest he is stronger than non awakened Akainu? Let alone Akainu?

Akainu destroyed half his head whilst barely suffering moderate injuries and nothing heavily indicating he would be unable to keep fighting and simply rested instead. Expecially when he could simply keep using a magma wall in all likelihood and keep messing him up.

ZORO hurt the guy ODA said was immortal / unable to die, the son of a bitch who jumped 10,000 meters high, the son of a bitch who has a fucking hard and strong skin, and when AKAINU was HYPED for having stronger skin than that of KAIDO?

Zoro manages to cut the WSM, WSC, WSP and leave a permanent scar, although the blow was not able to kill Kaido, or to defeat him, KAIDO is hailed as a freak by BIG MOM, and by the manga all the time, he is the impenetrable KAIDO, the strongest in the world.
LARINES summaries: ZORO cut KAIDO, but can't ZORO cut LARINES with his cloth skins?
ZORO is going to split them in two, with the smallest of attacks, I will not be surprised if Zoro or Luffy K.O, KIZARU after WANO.

What do you expect?
WAIDO is GOATED and he is literally fighting by himself against the PLOT (protagonists character such as the scabbards by himself). Of course He had some addition of Witch‘s crazy AOE attacks, and recently combined ISLAND attack, but mostly it‘s him doing the lifting

In addition With a mangaka, who wouldn‘t be afraid to make the protagonists look actually weaker as they should be, if they are facing WAIDO, then he would obliterate them as he would obliterate MF and save Ace from Akainu and co in a blink of an eye(s)
