From his postponed draw with vista that was at best yc4 to zoro scaring strongest pirate,and mihawk only fighting shanks 6 years before he became yonkou, it's safe to say that zoro at least gets a draw or beats mihawk.
We may have found the reason why mihawk is only top tier with a black blade, all other top tiers don't have it, like roger, rayleigh, WB, shanks, oden

black blade is based on coa, as in the ones that focus on coa make it black, but guys roger, wb, shanks, ray focus on CoC slashes instead that keep the blade white.

They will be equal when Zoro is able to fight and kill a 100% Kaido in a 1vs1 solo battle.

I don't think zoro is mihawk level yet but he's getting there no doubt, so far we never saw mihawk even got serious he always looks bored af ,,his casual swing is on a different level let be real mihawk never takes no one seriously.

The gap between Zoro and Mihawk isn't that large anymore. Zoro will surpass Mihawk in the next main arc post-Wano, which will be basically EoS.
