Maybe? You might as well ask "can Katakuri and Marco permanently scar Kaido?" After those feats you really can't rule it out. Heck for all we know he could solo Big Mom or an Admiral now. Also extreme diff isn't 50/50 it is 51/49. 50/50 would be a draw.

Are you sure that Luffy vs Katakuri wasn’t a literally toss up who would win at the last second? If it’s 50/50 then that’s just it... It’s 50/50
