Since it's an established fact that Mihawk is indeed a fraud who gets stalled by low tier commanders, and couldn't possibly be a "real" top tier comparatively speaking to the Yonkos and Admirals, shouldn't Zoro already hold the title of WSS?

This is the same man who came out of the time-skip stronger than Luffy, made a logia shit their pants without the usage of CoA haki, took a shit on a walking mountain, and clashed with an admiral who complimented and was shook upon witnessing his nameless ittoryu air cannon.

And now in Wano, he's continued to impress more and more each passing chapter until the latest, in which he has two top tiers with the highest durability in the verse scared at his immense attack power, and forced Kaido of all people to dodge. Dodge?!

Same top tiers who were laughing off attacks from dudes in the same "Worst" generation as Zoro, the scabbards, and other high tiers in the form of Vinsmokes. Same top tiers who can put the fear of God into other "low" tier commanders such as Queen just by staring at them, who can clearly stall the likes of Mihawk.

So going by all of these feats and portrayal that Zoro's racked up, and the feats and portrayal that's yet to come once he gets serious, I'm inclined to believe that he should comfortably be above Mihawk. No way could Mihawk actually be a top tier right? No way is the title of World Strongest Swordsman actually legit for Mihawk. Right?


Pretty sure that Zoro has achieved his dream first out of all the strawhats by the end of the time-skip, and is chilling at the moment as the certified WSS. What a GOAT.




Or is this shit just my deluded headcannon, Mihawk is actually a bonafide top tier since he's apparently still above Zoro?

Since Zoro now has Oden's haki plus his own and Oden was the only one to ever leave a permanent scar that did not heal on Kaido's body, and Shanks had a scuffle with Kaido and did not succeed in doing that, that means that Zoro is now a stronger hakiman than Shanks.

If Current Zoro unleashes an advanced form of Asura and learns penetration CoA he is finally capable to push Mihawk to high difficulty and defeat Kaido by himself with around high difficulty

If he even comes up with something new or keeps on training he will get even closer

Forging the black blade is the final step to reach and ultimately surpass Mihawk
