Speculations 5 reasons why Sanji will not fight King.

I agree with a lot of what youre saying, but in your opinion, Who will fight King if not Sanji?
I'd rather see Yamato tbh. I think those have to be the two strongest beasts after Kaido on the island. That Zoan tease wasn't for nothing and like I said someplace earlier, the best chance of a King fight for anyone is going after Momo. Sanji would wanna protect Yamato, but that idea totally shits on a new character before they even have a chance.

Sanji isn’t only fighting a calamity in this arc. Besides after Calamities, who do you think is left to fight for Sanji? Beckman then the BB matchup both who are going to be stronger than Marco. So yeah he will be at least as strong as Marco if not stronger.
Do you realize what I was trying to explain you? :josad:

Sanji defeating King in a 1 on 1 is probably in itself more likely than Sanji turning Marco level, Sanji surpassing Marco level is even tougher.

He could even face an admiral as his final matchup which i think makes sense if luffy gets a yonko(BB) and zoro get the WGS(mihawk) then sanji should get someone of a top tier caliber like a admiral.

I think Yamato is only Jack level and that’s who they’ll fight. Yamato and Jack being the same age and growing up together is a unique thing Oda added and since Jack is actually treated like a son whereas Yamato like a prisoner I think it’d be a cool fight

I’m saying he’ll be surpassing Marco. I know it’ll be tough but he’ll do it

1. Jack is arguably still injured from earlier and now has to finish off Inu. He will, but that's kind of a crummy fight for a fresh protagonist of impressive strength their first time out. I think Sanji is even still more likely for that one given his role in rescuing Zou and being roughed up by Maria. His fights often involve serious injury, like his own first major one against Gin. He has a 50/50 chance of reaching the Scabbards (Jack's path last we saw him acknowledge) but I think he'll go to Yamato. But then, he has another 50/50 chance of taking on whoever attacks that group.

2. Yamato having a past with Jack doesn't exist yet and it's maybe a little late for entirely establishing that given all the other grudges he has going. Going back to the strength argument, I think it's overlooked how impressive Yamato is. I don't see a base Sanji blocking Gear 3 casually.

1. Don’t forget what happened to franky. He had an impressive showing against Luffy and then fought the gag character of CP9 Fukurou. Jack I also think is the only calamity with an awakened devil fruit which is why he’s able to take beatings like he does. He’ll dispatch dog and continue healing himself. He won’t be at full health, but he’ll be strong enough to give Yamato a hard diff fight.

2. I don’t think it’s too far. The amount of information we have on the beast pirates past is non existent. All we know is Jack sees Kaido as a father figure and King and Queen as his older brothers. This already shows a family attribute to his character which may connect to Yamato being kaidos biological child but Jack Kaidos chosen child. I think the grudge thing is over once he takes out dog. And seriously? Sanjis showing in WCI is a lot more impressive. Daifukus genie appeared much stronger than a gear 3 punch and Sanji over powered that. Don’t forget blocked a lightning bolt attack from big mom with Luffy. Any gear 3 move from Luffy barring red rock would be blocked pretty casually

Franky's debut? He was managing to take a troubled Luffy by surprise. Then he had a pretty even skirmish with the same Blueno who was just a step behind a Luffy who had his head in the game. So it checks out.

Jack's fruit or skill details, that's just speculation for now.

I also do think he's a little underrated though. Like people go by his disposition towards the other two but that's not necessarily about the strength gap. Kaido's even higher up the food chain but "father figure" is a stretch. That's more like a Newgate and Marco deal.

But honestly if you think Sanji "overpowered" the genie, that it correlates to Gear 3, and ultimately that base Sanji could block that when he couldn't handle a kick from Judge, I dunno what to tell you.

1. Franky fought evenly with Luffy during Water 7. That’s just facts

2. Jacks the only calamity that’s not a confirmed haki user so he probably has something like awakening.

3. Sanji didn’t even get hurt from judges kick? I don’t know what you’re trying to say here. He was caught by surprise but the kick did zero damage. And do you seriously think Daifukus giant genie which can cut fleets in pieces is weaker than a gear 3 punch? Sounds like you’re just trying to low sell Sanji here. Sanjis well beyond gear 3...

It's really not worth wasting time responding with scans because it doesn't look like you're trying to make a point to stand behind. Just show me this at least so I know you take yourself remotely seriously:
Chapter 899, Daifukus giant genie swings and attacks the sunny, Sanji jumps up and deflects the blade. Sanji wins this exchange And the subsequent exchanges with this giant genie.

Sanji will be as strong as he needs to be just like luffy and zoro and every other strawhat....ussop will beat a guy who took hits from luffy and sanji, that doesn't make sense but it is happening. All these characters will be scaled up to preform all this feats talk is empty when faced with the reality that oda doesn't see these events beyond what they mean for the story, oda does not power scale nor does he care about whether or not sanji in a random panel got overwhelmed by an attack or blocked said attack or how that attack scales to other attacks, he has no time to think about this he doesn't care this man is not sitting there with a calculator to keep track of these levels. Luffy got one shot 2 weeks ago canonically, zoro passed out to a scythe stab canonically, law almost got killed multiple times by doflamingo canonically, I can keep going on and on...its futile, because if oda wanted to stay consistent.....kaido and big mom would be having an after party right now with every member of the supernovas head on a pike but that's not what oda wants thus they survive.

Wow. So this

is what you have to consider to Sanji's credit. This is a feat. Where he grumbles, Daifuku laughs, and Smoothie sees it as bullying.

[bepo] I'm sorry [/bepo]

Another reason why matchups shouldnt be assumed by character encouters
People argued that Sanji could fly, use fire..etc, and in what way does Sanji exactly counter King??? Queen is obviously a better matchup for Sanji because he's slower and gag ish he even let chopper do him bad.
While Zoro can cut fire, has AdCoA, CoC and can launch ranged/AoE deadly attacks which by default puts him above King for the moment. It's not like Sanji will fight Shiryu because they both share invisibility lmao invisibility isn't a counter to itself.
