People who are complaining about tension are correct though.

We are fighting a Yonko crew. And idk about y’all, but I thought there was a TON of tension in Enies Lobby, Saobody, and Marineford.

I never did, at least after the fact. The entirety of the Enies Lobby group survived with 0 casualties. Literally all of Franky family, the giants, Galley La and the Strawhats beat CP-9, escaped the island and escaped a buster call.

People act like Oda has done anything different at any point. I'd rather he do this than create false tension that leads to no consequence.

Big Mom vs Kidd or anyone 1v1 is not happening. At a bare minimum she’s probably going to take down Page One and Ulti.

I know the characters are just doing Oda’s whim but some people were so certain that this would happen that I wonder where they are now. My friend would love to hear them explain why the « Sabaody trio » did not face Kaido even tho it was SSSOOOO obvious that it was foreshadow. That’s all

The Supernovas as serious rivals for Luffy thing was dead and buried during Dressrosa arc with Luffy beating Doflamingo and getting his own fleet while Law failed to avenge Roccinante and beat Doflamingo, Whole Cake Island was the nail in the coffin with Luffy beating Katakuri and being called "the Fith Emperor" and getting 1,5 B bounty, and Wano is twisting the knife even further.

as I said enies lobby was never that hopeless. It was even more comical and comedic back there.
sabaondy and marineford also the hopeless moment only come at the end.

I have been reading weekly since skypiea, literally nothing changes for better or worse. If internet booms in the enies lobby part I would 100% sure that people will complain about lack of tension at zoro and ussopp handcuff moment, or franky fruit juice scene, etc

Enies Lobby was a very tense arc personally but only a few truly believed an SH could most likely die in that arc so it was another layer of tension, at least personally of course.

We'll have to see the full chapter to completely understand, because even as O-lin, Big Mom attacked Queen. The chapter says Big Mom is flying on her own prior to meeting Tama. That's not something normal Big Mom is capable of.

According to a lot of Veteran OP fans here. Forums were declaring EL the worst arc ever that signalled the death of One Piece back then
