nothing wrong with day 1 reads. You don't have to commit to your reads either.
I think giving out day 1 reads are pretty valuable, I've given out a list of reads before just early on as town and sometimes when I get shot n1, other townies can iso and go off of poe of my reads.
If no townies give reads day 1, its often kinda meh and harder to find their killer if mafia decides to go after say like you or me.
If scum gives out day 1 reads, they are just important. Day 1 is often time scum is cautious about what they want to give reads on so I always find them important even if they do change.
