King was going into the most dangerous situation we had seen him in. Let's not sit here and pretend that there was no chance that could have become a fight, it's not like he was not prepared for whatever that encounter may lead to. The fact is he chose to confront a Emperor and her entire crew without a sword.
King knew he didn't need to fight hem as they were climbing the water fall, isn't that why he acted so fast to stop them before they reached the top the man knew exactly what he was doing

I didn't know there was such a condition you have to be in your hybrid to use your weapon where is that explained in the manga
King's sword is no different than Kata's Mogura. He uses it in conjunction with his devil fruit ability but is not his main fighting style, when he fought Luffy he used it minimally then when push came to shove he relied on his mochi and future sight. We haven't seen much of what King can do so we are in the early stages of seeing how strong he truly is, similar to Katakuri but for some reason people forget that. The point is King chose to confront an Emperor and her crew without his sword that is all, you can try to twist it but that's what he did, a swordsman does not jump into battle without his sword no matter what the fight may be.

Ya but Rayleigh used his sword later on though, conveniently forgot that part?

And he used it for the majority of the fight itself, if all he did was use kicks except for that one occasion than ya.
kaku is a swordsman + he using kicks and his head to just like king used his leg beak and sword :kayneshrug:
king is already confirmed a swordsman in the op magazine

I didn't say he wasn't a swordsman, just that he is no different than to a cracker, Queen or a Jack. They use swords too but it's not their main ability. Kaku was stated to be the best swordsman of cp9 and Zoro sought him out personally, King has no such title.

I rarely witnessed something so boring over a span of 5 days :yurazclear:

Btw I'm really really really worried about Franky vs Sasaki. That comment Sasaki made about Denjiro and two scabbards joining Sanji's party point toward something so awful i can't even write it without feeling nauseous: Franky and Denjiro vs Sasaki :shame::virusprot:
Please Oda, not this :risitavirus:
