He went to rescue Sanji then leave. Which he accomplished. Jinbe just wanted to ensure his crew survives and Luffy is all about freedom as long as his crewmembers return to him.
The difference is in Wano is he went here with the idea to take down everyone he can. He wanted to fight, he was fresh, he wanted to defeat everyone.
