So funny I just read this in the news section. I find it hilarious they use the 4-5 years metric.

Compare vol 80-89 releases, April 2016-September 2018. Thats 2.5 years to do 10 volumes. And it's consistent because 90 released December 2018 and 99 releases in June

So just off of that metric, that's 5 years at minimum to do 20 more volumes. 30 volumes is 7.5 years.

Then account for the fact that Oda has yet to overestimate the length of his story (he always underestimates), it could be even more than 30 volumes.

Finally, we still probably have ~4-5 volumes beyond volume 100 for Wano, are they accounting for that? 20-30 volumes does suggest something substantial. That's all of DR, Zo and WCI OR all of DR, Zo, WCI and Wano up until this point.

Like that's an insane estimation gap lol
