Nah g4 luffy only increases strength..........we know that base luffy + adv coc >>> g4 luffy.......adv coc makes the huge difference much bigger that g4.......adding g4 won't increase the power that much.....if anything it will eat up luffy's haki faster

Like I said, Base Luffy is no where next to Kaido's level. However, I do believe Base Luffy would slap the taste out of Katakuri's mouth and some high tiers but the power level between a Hybrid Kaido and a Base Luffy is huge. Ffs the man ate all Luffy's punches, scabbards attacks and Zoro's strongest attack all in one day and still doesn't look fazed at all. If Kaido has gone all out from the jump, every member of the alliance are dying end of.

viz translation said it was a few dozen minutes ago since the start of the 1vs1 till the present time after Sanji wrapped up Zoro and started running to where he needed to be.

Base Luffy was fighting near Katakuri's level last arc before learning BASIC ryuo, let alone internal destruction ryuo, standard base stat zenkai haki bloom boosts, and learning advanced CoC.

Fighting for dozens of minutes 1vs1 is not a "massive" gap. Kaido still has the bruises from G4 beating he took. If Luffy had learned advanced CoC from the jump then it would be a different scenario also...
