Oda made Luffy's fights less enjoyable with the whole running out of haki bullshit thing post ts.
Also pre ts he was making the shorter fights/clashes more interesting, now he is just hyping one character over another just to have the hyped character get defeated seconds after.

Honestly, the rooftop battle has been absolutely beautiful so far in both form appearance and concept.

If it sticks the landing, I think it'd be the best fight in the series easily.

The fights aren’t as memorable or hyped as it was in pre-timeskip.
Luffy vs Katakuri fight was the best fight in post-timeskip
The fight between the Supernovas and Yonkos was getting really good until an asspull was executed.
