lol so ur only watching the nba because of LeBron and Curry? there's so much to be interested about the NBA playoffs this season if you're not a bandwagon fan. The championship this season is very much wide open for any playoff team right now to win.

mad respect to Kwame Brown
Yes, mainly because of them and some other stars. I dont have much time to follow all the role players in the league. I would rather spend time watching Kwame's rants than blowouts of the low seed teams, lol.

credit to memphis and Taylor Jenkins for a great gameplan, and ironically started as soon as Valanciunas fouled out
Great gameplan at the end. He almost botched it not calling a challenge (and not using it at the end) on any of those Warriors foul calls like Poole's 3. Jonas was having a TT-like impact until he got in foul trouble but other guys stepped up. It felt like a role player was gonna win it for this one on both teams and it pretty much turned out to be true.

Curry's had a fantastic season comparable to his 2015-16 numbers but i do genuinely hope he doesn't win MVP this season (it should be Jokic imo and no one else), it would be a bad precedent if he were to win the award and the Warriors lose tonight and miss the playoffs
On second thought, I hope Steph wins MVP now. This is not a joke lol. I don't know what makes it a bad precedent when Jokic is basically winning it on games played. It's the Kobe argument.

I mean you are following someone who was a role player in the league but I agree.

Nah Jokic been going Brazy this year. Embiid got em by 2pts. Jokic avg 6 more assist and shoots almost 3% higher from tha floor and ge brough them to tha 3rd seed after they lost Jamal Murray

No way, it would be a joke if Curry wins it now and this is coming from a fan. This reminds me of when Messi won the world cup player of the year once and was a laughing stock of the soccer community. It was essentially a consolation prize from the judges because he couldnt win the championship.

What do you mean? Curry has always been special since his Davidson days.

Yep and Embiid was still the MVP favorite prior to him getting injured in the ASB. I'm not saying Jokic doesn't deserve it but he also didn't have your normal MVP criteria. We're basically also voting for him mostly on stats and games played and less on team record even though he carried them when JM went out. I'm just saying, bro! Don't kill me lol.

True although some people already decided he was MVP before the play-in even happened so I don't think there's anything wrong there (although it doesn't look good now lol). Play-ins are basically playoffs now.

I meant Kwame lol.

looking back at regulation, Draymond could have easily won the game but because of his passive nature in terms of scoring/being aggressive, it came back to bite him at the worst possible time and cost the Warriors a playoff berth. He needs to get some of his 2015-16 scoring ability back if he wants the Warriors to be back in the playoffs anytime soon

Damn. He should've just tried to finish it instead of attempting that awkward floater. That's pretty much an open lane to the hoop. It looked like the guy closest to him was gonna get there to him.

Lol, Wiggins is the #1 trending on my feed. He's getting the full-on Danny Green treatment with that one brick.

he (Wiggins) was fine though beyond that brick, can't be too mad about that shot tbh. He (and Poole) was doing his best to contribute besides Steph

Lmfao. They not even being fair to him. Unlike Danny Green last year, he did his part and played pretty well almost the whole game. Can’t bash him too hard for one shot. If other guys stepped up it wouldn’t even have gone to overtime.

Outside of Curry, Poole and Wiggins were the only source of semi consistent scoring lol.

Lmfao this was flat out pathetic by a professional basketball player. Man had an open mid range or floater instead he tried to pass that shit with literal seconds on tha clock

Deservedly so Lmaoooo that was terrible

This will forever haunt me. I have never in my years of watching basketball seen a team willingly give a player an open lane to win the game on a layup or floater, much less on a win or go home situation.

As a basketball player everyone knows this, it is your innate reflex to want to stop the open drive. Regardless of game plan, you as a player reflexively stop an open drive because it's a free basket, the rest can sort itself out. The grizzlies with their season on the line straight up let Draymond walk up to a floater lmao (infact Bane straight up ran away from him), and he made them look like geniuses.

Draymond needs to rethink life after this, he needs to go into the offseason with this play replaying in his head daily. Dude has zero scoring ability, Memphis was doubling Curry and completely got away with it because they were able to cover all bases while leaving Draymond wide open.

I think Curry wants that shot back, he would probably rather shoot over the double than an open Draymond floater.

Bro when I seen it live, my jaw legit dropped. I couldn’t fucking believe A) tha Grizzlies RAN away from a professional basketball player who was running in a straight line to tha rim....and B) Draymond really smoked a basic wide open layup

Ion care what lvl you play at, tha first thing you are taught is stop tha ball. These ***** did tha flat out opposite and it was tha smartest thing they could’ve done. Bro Desmond Bane straight up turned to do tha right thing then jus stopped and spun tha fuck around like he jus KNEW that shit ain’t have a fucking prayer LMFAOOO

I honestly couldn't believe what I was watching. You would get knocked out by your teammates on open court for allowing that on game point. Deadass my friends would tell me to get off the court even after the miss, and the grizzlies really did that to an nba player, like yea "we'll let you send us home on a layup Draymond" The seas were parted like the man was Moses.
