Oden is who I expected Roger would be tbh
being a leader
being a MC of his own story
being able to hear everything

What loner? He is with company usually and does this on his own like luffy style, not like Zoro.
Honestly majorly of Luffy, some with Sanji, while Zoro you can only try to get away with swordsmanship, but still no similarities in personality and traits to Zoro much. He is like more embodiment of M3 if I think about it.

You mean him constantly leaving without telling anyone and going off to do his own shit doesn't make him a loner? The man has abandoned his men at least five times in this one flashback and he ran off to have adventures for who knows how long with Whitebeard without telling his men and not knowing how long he will travel with whitebeard
Luffy is introduced literally looking for friends to join him in his journey and his entire flashback as a kid is him trying to befriend Ace and Sabo. Compare this to Oden who makes that dumb face when Kin'emon and Denjiro say they wanna follow him
Also being surrounded by people doesn't mean he isn't a loner... Zoro is surrounded by people but he's still a loner... We know even back before he joined the crew he was followed by Johny and yosaku even though he's still was still a loner then.

Bro, the official translation of one piece uses zolo. It has nothing to do with 4kids. 4kids is only responsible for the english anime dub, and they only used zolo because of the official translation of the manga.

@True God Moe well, after researching this, i did find out that the first volumes of the english translation did have "zoro".
For explanation i have found:
1) 4kids
2) copyright issues with the popular character "zorro" (which funnily is zoros official name in the german translation)
So i guess you are not as wrong as i thought.

Your must reading wrong stuff then as every translations given around when we look on manga websites use Zoro, never Zolo, so Idk what your looking up, but that's clearly not the right one. Zolo name came from 4Kids, never was it Shueshia thing or Oda discuss about it.

This is not what i was saying. "Zoro" is obviously correct as well. "Zolo" is still a legitimate translation because of the L/R stuff i mentioned in the other thread.

Then many have to be wrong including people who discuss them in Youtube, Twitter, Reddit, etc.. Since every last one of them been saying Zoro for years now, so yeah nice ego you have there to say your 'right' and majority is wrong as always you enforce.
From when I hear Zolo, people never said that was always true name of him unless your saying another name like from another country like how Luffy can be address as Luffy in other areas, then I can agree. Though Zoro's true name has always been Zoro, haven't heard anything on Oda or Shueshia it's truly Zolo or always meant as that.

Dude, your hear arguing to me about the name situation when we discuss about Zoro and what he is actuality call. Again no one refers to him as Zolo at all even from other countries I haven't hear a name change on him being 'Zolo'. It's usually 4Kids that design that mindset, not something official about it.

It's official for Americans, Moe. They call "Zoro" "Zolo" officially, VIZ is the official translation made by Shueisha itself
