He has mastered the art of click bait. I like that new shonen mangakas are not influenced by him (JJK especially), if they were to copy Oda Manga's reputation will go down. It is different when Oda does it, because he has backstory to back it up, and major hype events that he can use to balance the things. So, overall reading experience of OP is still good.

Why are people surprised at Kin being alive? It was the most obvious thing ever. Oda never kills off characters like this. Kiku and Kanjuro on the other hand are dead imo. Or Kiku if not dead will die in the next chapter after meeting Izo for the last time.
