This is not the issue. The issue was questioning Zoro's morality and he has no problems killing in general, just like he usually doesn't retract his own words.

King and Queen are not equal.

They weren't introduced as equal but above Jack.

Beast Piratess have the card theme going on and in card games Kings are above Queens.

They both have different reactions to Big Mom. King it's not concerned about her and even refuses her offer. While Queen is very concerned when Kaido tells them to remove her chains.

Yeah, they're definitely not equal imo but the difference doesn't look large I think. If anything, Queen has the better feats right now (Knocking out BM, one of the most durable characters in the verse). For Queen being scared, he's a goofy character from the get-go. King gives more of an edgy lord vibe so their behaviour suited their personalities. I won't really use that to power scale them tbh. Still, King should be a bit stronger due to his name.
