No doubt. Great for retribution purposes.
I see Luffy and Sabo defeating Akainu.
Most likely Jinbei takes the strongest fourth. :josad:
Idk if its an Admiral.

Fujitora Defects. Aokiji is Sword.
Luffy ~ Akainu
Zoro ~ Kizaru
Sanji ~ Greenbull
Jinbei~ Hidden Strong Combatant (like Jabra, WsW)
Luffy vs Sakazuki

Zoro vs Kizaru

Sanji vs Greenbull

Jinbe vs either CP-0 Leader/Strong Vice Admiral/Orange Admiral with help from Yamato.

Jinbei should've been an ally.
That way the feats would be greater. Now he's gonna be backgrounded. :josad::lusalty:

Just think about it

Eustass Kid: 475M
Trafalgar D. Water Law: 500M
Jinbei: 438M

He's a BIG shot. He deserves a Calamity man.
I hope Yamato doesn't replace him, before he has an official fight.

Being a Straw Hat means Oda is required to acknowledge him once every 4 arcs.

Yamato just looks good because of recency bias, she and Jinbe will occupy the same position in the crew hierarchy.

While I also wanted him to get a calamity (Jack), joining the crew secures big fights way more than being an ally. At the end of the day it’s the Strawhats that are going to get all the drip. Trust me you’ll realize being on the pirate kings crew beats being one of those guys stuck in the grand fleet lol.

I agree with you half and half. Originally I wanted him to get Queen. Jack is great as well. Jinbei is a Warlord and actually deserves Noteworthy opponents. Might be my biases in play tho.

And yea, lets be real the Grand Fleet got flops as fights in Dressrosa. 280M Cavendish got Dellinger....

Yamato is not a damsel, she's able to do freaking Thunder Sigua lol. Imo Yamato is more of the counterpart of Dressrosa's Law. Wanting to break free of Doflamingo's strings (Kaidou's chains) and sever ties, having great strength aside Luffy, and finally admiring Luffy for defeating Kaidou and giving him the main credit where its due etc.

Imagine thinking otherwise, couldn’t be me lol

Oda is a hack. all arcs are copy paste of each others lol

yamato had potential but because this is oda she is utter trash.
Laido will one shot her and then steps forward to kill her only for...hero Luffy to arrive and save her ...like all arcs lmao

Nico Robin had potential to be one of the top fighters as she was crocodile partner but we all know what happened...crocodile one shotted her.
I expect Yamato to cry like a baby non stop. Oda loves this shit

Not copy paste lol, those are templates of roles, you mean. Oda worked hard to make the lore and those intricate history, character relationship etc. He excels in that, if you're gonna dismiss it only to say he copy-pasted everything then why are you hating so much if you can't take it?

Pudding wasn't a damsel.

And Yamao isn't Vivi nor Rebecca.
Prior to meeting Straw Hats, Vivi spent her days infiltrating Baroque Works. Rebecca spent her days as Undefeated Gladiator, fighting against her own pacifist will.

Yamao? Spent her days masturbating to Lolden's journal and daydreaming about Donut Prince Ace. Basically did nothing and only waiting for 20 years prophecy bullshit.

So she is probably closest to Shirahoshi as Shirahoshi also did nothing when she always knew that Hody Jones was a snake.

Contrary to what @The Unworthy would have you believe, Yamato is the lone female combatant in the upper echelons (high and top tier) that Oda has treated with dignity and respect. She's formidable, and Oda doesn't need to tell us that because he's shown it quite clearly.

She debuts by oneshotting a Tobi Roppo:

Note that this is a perfect mirror of how Kaido took down Luffy:

The only other character that has taken out a Tobi Roppo with one attack was Linlin, and even then she did it with one of her strongest techniques (and to a less durable version of Ulti):

She casually stalemates a pissed off Luffy:

This was while she had no intention of harming him and so didn't even attempt to fight back, only seeking to get him to hear her out:

She forces Luffy to give up and listen to her:

She casually fends off a Tobi Roppo while chatting with Luffy and daydreaming about Momonosuke being her son:

She withstands a relentless barrage of cannon fire while decimating Sasaki's Armoured Division and protecting Momonosuke and Shinobu:

She bared her fangs at Sasaki and had him shook.

She oneshots a Number, further scaring a Tobi Roppo:

In her flashback, Ace said she was too strong not to be a captain:

Ace was unable to overcome her for the duration of the fight:

Note that all of her above feats have been performed without the use of her Devil Fruit.

Conclusions
Since her introduction, Yamato has been racking up an unending streak of Ws. Leaving aside her female counterparts, Oda hasn't depicted most male combatants with the same respect. If Yamato is a damsel, then 99% of One Piece's male combatants are damsels as well.

Her fight with Luffy in particular stands out. The only other people that have so casually handled G2/G3 Luffy have been Doffy, Cracker and Katakuri (all solid high tiers). However, the Luffy Yamato fought is considerably stronger than the Luffy either of them fought, as this was Luffy after his Udon training. Compared to his WCI version, Post Udon Luffy had:
  • Much stronger observation haki: Future Sight
  • Much stronger armament haki: barrier armament and penetration armament
  • Significantly higher base stats: Udon training in the Karouseki handcuffs

Yet this same Luffy was treated by Yamato like a petulant child.

The hype Oda has given Yamato is through the Roof, and he has consistently delivered and followed through on that hype with unblemished portrayal.

I know some people are sceptical of Yamato's standing as a combatant given Oda's horrendous track record with female fighters, but Oda has had ample opportunity to undermine Yamato as a fighter, and has instead done the opposite at every turn. As such, this is one occasion where I trust Oda to deliver.

Lol Oda made Yamato identity as Oden who is a man as a loophole because he couldn’t bare to have a primary female combatant that isn’t a Yonko shine. He had to trick his own brain.
