Actually I would pay so much money to witness Ryuma v JoyBoy.

When Saint Shanks shows up in Marineford, the Marines ask Mihawk to stop him, he refuses and run away.

So Mihawk still saw Saint Shanks as a threat.

Mihawks is afraid of losing to Saint Shanks because would be a shame to lose to an one armed man. He knows Shansk would surpass him because Saint Shanks has CoC and he doesn't. That's why he choose Zoro to surpass him and that's why he didn't teach Zoro about CoC(he himself doesn't have).

Roger sat down and talked to Whitebeard about what he discovered, it wouldn‘t be much of a surprise if Saint Shanks and Mihawk did the same. The two are on pretty good terms, we know they talked about Luffy years before Mihawk met him, and that Mihawk is happy to sail right into Saint Shank’ territory to (again) talk about Luffy.

WTF that talk about Saint Shanks being Celestial Dragon and Mihawk not fighting him for that. Saint Shanks was ready to go on war against Marines and BB at Marineford, he didn't demand Sengoku to stop that war because of his status. Doffy was a Celestial Dragon he could have fought him in terms of status.

Saint Shanks wants to fight Mihawk, Mihawk is the one avoiding to fight. Mihawk is clearly doesn't giving a shit if Saint Shanks is or not Celestial Dragon.

I think it's presumably related to their previous encounter and Mihawk mentioning Saint Shanks' one armed state.
