Powers & Abilities Sanji CoO is stronger than Luffy's ?

I'll make it simple if fs could be dodge easily with normal coo then what's the point of getting fs :kayneshrug:
Future sight allows you to foresee things in front of you a few seconds before it actually happens. It actually gives the user a great advantage in combat. Before Luffy learned Future Sight himself and before Katakuri himself fucked up, Luffy was constantly getting hit by Katakuri's attacks while his own attacks couldn't land one blow on Katakuri.

Normal CoO doesn't 'dodge' Future Sight, it just helps one be aware of their immediate surroundings. The classic rule of future events and time travel, is that if you intervene and change the predicted future, then the predicted future changes and is no longer the same as you predicted.

Katakuri foresaw Sanji dodging father preist's bullet, so he intervened before Father Priest even took the shot- intervening in that Future, disrupting it and making it no longer the same as he predicted, in this case Sanji dodging his jellybean. Katakuri was too hasty.

But Sanji himself dodging his jellybean had nothing to do with Future Sight Observation Haki, he either saw it out of the corner of his eye, or it was just his normal Observation Haki sensing a projectile coming into his immediate surroundings. Observation Haki allows one to dodge a incoming attack from behind even when blindfolded (as evidenced and seen in Rayleigh and Luffy's training), so Sanji dodging a jellybean out of the corner of his eye isn't out of the ordinary for a CoO user.

Nice explain & I never thought sanji had fs not even once but just great coo & I think his coo allows him to see things in slow mo, because of the oven situation

I guess two type of advanced CoO . Luffy know how to use FS and he must have referred the other one. Even though Sanji's women relation CoO seem gag , if he want to focus something related to emotional auro , he can see high resolution whatever he want. And Luffys sentence abot observation must be refer that type of observation if we accept that one advanced type.

Surely we haven't learnt fully CoO's capabilities.
Remember what Usopp did against Sugar. He could see much more far away than usual. It didn't seem like the normal Coo.
Propably Coo upgrade all 5 human senses and gives a variety of abilities

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't- Oda has never specifically focused on Sanji's CoO to make the point that Sanji's Observation Haki is anything special. If Sanji did or does have some kind of special CoO, then Oda would need to point it out specifically, show it in the manga.

I don't see Sanji's CoO as being a Advanced one.

The 4 basic techniques that one can learn and use after acquiring Observation Haki are:
Presence Sensing- Ussop used this one to locate Sugar
Strength Sensing- Blackbeard used this one to gauge Luffy's strength when they first met in the bar
Emotion Sensing - This is the one Sanji used to hear and feel the pain of women that was a trap in the Wano Arc
Intent Sensing- this is the normal and most common ability of Observation Haki, used for dodging attacks

Future Sight is the only Advanced technique revealed in the manga thus far, and only Luffy and Katakuri have shown to be able to use it.

I say that Sanji just used the basic Emotion Sensing technique to hear and feel the emotions and voices of the women crying for help (which wasn't even real, it was a trap set up by Black Maria's subordinates).

So no i don't believe that Sanji's CoO is stronger than Luffy's, its the reverse-Luffy's CoO is stronger than Sanji's, since Luffy is the only one in the crew who has shown to be able to use Future Sight, the Advanced technique of CoO.

I think base Sanji is faster than base Luffy! So that is why he can react to Katakuri's jelly bean!Sanji being a coo specialist might also allow his coo to be better than Luffy even without FS!Zoro is dodging Kaido and BM without FS,other supernovas did the same!I think base Luffy is not that fast!

For me,
I think Luffy has better specifity and utility in combat like future sight

But Sanji has larger range he covers... especially because this is not the first time we experience big range... his moment when he sensed the Sunny is in danger from doflamingo while he was far away with Viola I believe was the biggest range used between any SHs...

But when it comes to skills for combat, I think Luffy is better as there is no clear indication of Sanji being able to use future sight...
The only way Sanji can be better than Luffy in that area is if:
1- He proved he has same level of future sight or better (cause the bigger range will make him have the edge)

2- OR if Sanji knows a way of countering future sight without needing to access future sight... kinda like being able to hide your presence/haki completely... making the opponent unable to read his intentions or future movement which renders the future sight useless...

Very complacated thing to understand haki .d

SAnji COO is not so good if he can't detect a big ass Spider Lady behind the door
You have added a new dimension to the discussion. Thanks. :)

That's just his dick energy clouding his judgment lol
It's like seeing naked woman with knives, you'll instictively try to ignore the knives exist Lol
Or if you love to be tortured you will notice it
just he concentrates wrong points.d.d if he want to focus without woman , iam sure he can see. But in the okama island , he might have lost what man is .d

I don't pin too much hype on Future Sight because I personally don't take it too literal.

Like knowing what happens a few seconds in the future implicates preemptively knowing several opponent's moves at these levels, a lot possibly. I think that would be too broken, like the equivalent of insta reaction, and if it's the case then why did Luffy get caught by Boro Breath in one occasion failing to properly protect himself with his hands I mean. That's unlikely. And he also failed to calculate that Base Kaido would have blitzed him in early Wano stage and so on.
