Why’s that?

what do you think of his claims — not only people he’ll have but those he wanted
Uhh tbh I didn't pay attention to that. I mean he fought Fuji for Zara which there Isn't much value there in the first place.

I think he's not so trustworthy based on the fact that he is low effort right now, and has only focused on recruiting and being captain, which in the end is just a mechanic.

I don't think it really matters if we trust the captains or not. I think being in the groups give extra opportunity to read people, which is why I think the captains should put all people they think are town into their groups, it will be easier to get reads in an isolated setting.

Captains get buffs to their roles, each faction gets a buff each cycle if they have the most missions done.

Well who he wants to grab can speak a lot about his team.

Wouldn’t you want to grab useful people on your team, be it another member of your mafia or players you think you can sway?
Ahh honestly I did not give it much thought. In that case then our team might have some weird balance. But it should be easier to see how each person is in a smaller group and anyway I can always report back.

Is there any leader you trust less, along with some they recruited that may be on the same team?

Lotta conjecture right here, man…feels more like Captain and everyone else are just picking people at random, or people they want on a personal level. You’re ascribing more significance than this deserves, in my opinion.
perhaps that reflects on the captains moreso than anything. i agree that there seems to be a random element to the captains choices for their teams but shouldnt they want productive and useful players? i dont know if i would want dead weight on my team.

As a rule of thumb, sure, that’s probably what I would do. I think I’m the closest thing to dead weight that Captain could have picked, so I’m hoping what you said ISN’T at play here, but it also makes me think that he might be choosing us by a different set of standards, which means TAC is grasping for straws with whatever he’s trying to say.

If I were scum, I’d pick a scum mate to argue with me viciously in discord. It’s in a small group so there’s less people to add their own views and break it down but still a sizable population to vouch for myself and another player not being on the same page, should one of us die.
