Character Discussion Why do People Compare Yamato to Jimbe or Franky?
Yamato is the Oden of the crew... Oh wait she neither can read Poneglyphs because Robin is doing it nor is he using Oden's fighting style... Which is strange for a ultra Oden cosplayer.
Nothing will change and next arc it will be clear again... But maybe the next challenger will appear for people, who for strange reasons hate the concept of M3... and of course Sanji.
Because feat wise Yamato > Zoro and Luffy as well if she manages to stall Hybrid Kaidou for such a long time

For me personally, I think we've seen enough of this series to be able to confidently make assertions about certain tings given the patterns we've seen so far and one of those tings I think we can confidently say at this point is that no new nakama is ever going to break the 'M3 dynamic'. We've been through this so many times already. First with Robin, then Franky and most recently Jinbe. I mean if even someone with Jinbe's pedigree (i.e. a Shichibukai that is even held in high regard by Cp0) was unable to break into it, then it is clearly something Oda isn't willing to compromise on regardless of how you/we try to rationalize it.
It is possible that Yamato is stronger than Sanji, there have been some indications that that she might be able to use advanced CoC + She mostly likely has a mythical zoan but imo this only makes it all the more unlikely that she joins the crew in addition to a plethora of other reason imo. If I'm wrong and she does join tho, regardless of whether she is Kaido's daughter or not, she will 100% get the Jinbe treatment be it by all of the M3, Sanji included getting a filthy power boost this arc to distinctively put them above her or by her proving to not be as strong as you and even me think.
Hypothetically speaking tho, if Yamato does break into the M3 dynamic when even Jinbe wasn't able to, I can't help but feel that it'd be a massive disservice to Jinbe and if I was a Jinbe fan, I'd feel very hard done by it.

To be honest, I dont think Oda would try to break the M3
I Believe the reason why Oda had to delay Jinbe's recruitment is due to that.
Oda gave power ups and significant experiences for both Zoro and Sanji to grow before he let Jinbe join.
Zoro now has Enma, and beating King would maker his name more prominent. The same could be said with Sanji.
their names would become more notorious than jinbe after this arc because they're a growing force, and have yet to reach primes. They will become new threats whereas for Jinbe, everyone, the marines, the govt already know what he can do. He would be less of a threat in their eyes.
as for Yamato joining, the govt know nothing about her, I assume, so the only threat Yamato has is by being just Kaido's son. So as far as the treatment to these characters are concern. The marines and other pirates would see shs strongest forces are the trio since they already have made a name for themselves as the crews main forces.
as for the power levels, if sanji and zoro develop new skills while fighting the all stars then it would be easy for me to put yamato as fourth strongest.
after all I think Yamato have yet to touched her potential, and I dont think hes above Jack at this point

I think Yamato will be stronger than Sanji post Wano, but i doubt that she will have a more important fight than him.
We already know that Oda cares much more about plot than power-scalling, even Jinbe being stronger than current Sanji, he still don't getting a more relevant opponent.
Maybe due to her portrayal with Oden this dinamic can be broken(what i don't believe will happen), let's see.

Also @Cinera I'm curious, if you think Yamato is as strong as you think she is and has so much potential with her being Kaido's daughter, I'm interested in knowing why you've excluded Zoro out of this debate. Wouldn't he be fair game as well? or is there a specific reason why it is impossible for Yamato to be stronger than Zoro, I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this ^^.

I don't really agree with this logic and Luffy's existence in the crew literally contradicts this but for arguments sake, even if we assumed that the "Captain" is exempted from this for whatever reason. There is quite a lot of holes in this logic. For one, you are insinuating that the "combatant" position in the crew is a unique one. Another is that we literally have a contradiction to this notion in Shanks Crew. The one with the "combatant" role in the Red Hair Pirates is "Lucky Roo" but I doubt you'd find anyone making an argument for him being stronger than Benn Beckman.
Yamato's character will likely undergo a growth on the deep personality level. I doubt she will replace Oden necessarily if meant in the sense she will think of herself as Oden forever. I think she will still be figuratively to be associated to him in that still bonded and from Wano, but she is no Samurai.
Come back when she manages to tackle the energy blast of two yonko combined and permascars Kaido (inflicts a similar damage output) whilst standing in those pitiful conditions of health. Also when she manages to eat a presumable ACoC Thunder Bagua to the stomach right after without even dying.
