If it gets buffed by Armament haki, it will cause quite a lot of harm to most people.

Luffy with one punch did more damage, knocked him down and actually gave him a hard time. Zoro with his best attack could not bring down Kaido. At least he tried.

Knocking Kaido down has stopped being impressive back in chapter 923.
The manga has repeatedly slapped you in the face with Oden's scar being the most damage Kaido ever received.
Now, Zoro's scar is also the most damage Kaido ever received. Luffy will never be able to be comparable to that.

Enies Lobby / Thriller Bark / Sabaody / Marineford were peak imo, but he's done a great job in Wano arc with visuals (Flower capital, Onigashima introduction)

yeah i agree wano is beautiful but the last few chapters i can't help but notice a drastic change in the thickness of his pen and the artstyle in general, it looks way less refined and more coarse

seeing how the strawhats doing in the fights. you can say that Kid and Law have no chance on rivaling Luffy with their current crews (i still think Law will board the sunny as a friend till Raftl but aside from that). they will have to recruit the Apo, Hawkins , the Tobiroppo and even the three Kaido commanders in their crews and still they won't have a real chance.
Kid has Killer as top fighter and Law didn't have anyone on that level.

Luffy will do something way better and way more impressive than just scarring Kaido. Luffy will actually defeat him and who knows, maybe even kill him, although Luffy isn't someone who kills people.
Zoro's attack might have scarred Kaido, but Kaido never gave him the respect that Luffy received from him. At the end, Luffy was the one who was still standing and fighting against Kaido, not Zoro.
