The thing is. It wasn't established early on. King got his ass handled to him by fucking Izo and Marco. Especially Marco who is a fucking healer, not an offensive type.

If King pulls off advCoA and CoC just fucking now only to fight Zoro Oda deffo has brain damage then.

Zoro fought Kaido for 2 reasons:
1. he is part of the supernova
2. he got the only sword that hurt Kaido in the past.
he did his job and as the other supernova with exception of Luffy they went down and got another opponents.
and he did his job in honoring Hyori's gift and used that sword to hurt Kaido and even got himself a good power up to beat the flying swordsman :D
when it comes to grudges, Kid and killer has more reason to fight Kaido than Zoro since they were humiliated by him and their crew was hurt because of him.

He didn't ask shit.
He straight up told luffy he's going to go to kaido too.
Learn how to read.
The only reason zoro went down won't be a factor after he takes the jab.

Zoro was hoping to knock Kaido off his feet and I believe Zoro wouldn't settle for less than great, Kaido acknowledged than he still did enough for scarring him and later after fighting Luffy he claims it's been a long time since he's gotten that worked up.

either King takes him and flee , the marines comes and arrest him, the alliance put him in sea stones cuffs.

Do you really believe this? Throughout the chapters, since Kaido's introduction there was a focus on his death, his wish to die and him being unkillable. He was arrested before multiple times and always escaped. I doubt they did NOT use seastone on him.
There is only one logical way to deal with Kaido , his death is inevitable.

Just like with Doffy Law did his best but was taken out of the equation and could not fight anymore and Luffy finished the fight.

I believe this role rather goes to Yamato not Zoro.

Yes they will be defeated. But by monsters like Zoro and Sanji with extreme high difficulty. Don't compare other Strawhats(except Jinbe) with them.
