Looking at Roger's crew in the latest chapter 956?, I don't think we'd be getting direct mirror like parallels with the SHs. I mean Roger looks a completely different kind of fighter to Luffy, he's also ruthless which isn't exactly Luffy~esque but we do know that Luffy & Roger share some unique behavioral traits thus the similarity between the two. So even if there are similarities between the Roger Pirates & the SHs I don't think they'd be like for like.
You have a point with regards to Rayleigh sharing some similarities with Zoro & Sanji but I think we'd have to get to know a little bit more about Scopper to know whether he also shares some similarities with Sanji maybe even more than Ray does. Also not sure I agree with the intelligence parallels you drew up between Rayleigh and Sanji. Rayleigh is cool-headed, has shown good deduction skills and generally seems to have a good head on him but he's still yet to show to the tactical know-how Sanji has demonstrated time and time again which is what sets Sanji apart from the rest of the crew even in the smarts department. In that sense, he's not that much different from Zoro tbf.

This again? Sanji has nothing in common with rayliegh other than being a womanizer. Every thing else anyone can possibly being up are loose portrayals like hair or kicking once or being smart. Unless you are trying to make a perfect copy of rayliegh (which adding sanji to zoro still does not do) there really isn't anything else. There is never gonna be perfect parallels cuz there is never gonna be clones from different gens.

Sanji has zero relation to Rayleigh. The only parallel that exists is between Rayleigh and Zoro, because they are both the first mate and vice captain to the Pirate King (or future Pirate King).

Gotta disagree you as there are similarities between the 2 and Nami is more 'head' than hand. She not apart of the circle of M3 for a reason. Both represent as leaders when Luffy isn't around and Rayleigh fight similar to them along with personality traits to boot.

Strength isn’t the be all end all. Just because Nami isn’t strong, or as strong as Sanji, doesn’t make her position on the crew less than his. The idea that Nami doesn’t display as much or more leadership than anyone else on the crew is false. The dichotomy is between Zoro and Nami, not Zoro and Sanji. Notice how in the major decisions dealing with the crew, Robin leaving, Usopp’s abandonment, and Sanji’s blackmailing, the two opposing forces were Zoro and *Nami*, before it came down to Luffy. Hell, most every major event that occurs in the New World as it pertains to the Straw Hat’s occurs with Luffy and either Zoro or Nami. The events we’re watching play out now are predicated on an agreement between Luffy and Law that *Nami* was a party to. Luffy cleaned up on Dressrosa and Zoro was his right hand. Zou showcases Zoro vs Nami and then we had a tradeoff between the two, and its Nami that takes the second most important role following until the end of WCI.

They are the three senior members on the crew, the “triggers” as Oda called them, and the people that the story is most impacted by and have the most significant leadership roles.
