The names of the Straw Hats' devil fruits all correspond to Japanese numbers.
Luffy's fruit = Gomu = 5,6
Chopper's fruit = Hito = 1,10
Robin's fruit = Hana = 8,7
Brook's fruit = Yomi = 4,3
The missing numbers are 2 and 9. Kuma's fruit is the one that fits best. Kinemon's also passes iirc.

Now, this is where we'll seriously dive into Oda's autism.
56+110+87+43+29=325.
3 = San
2 = Ni
5 = Go
San Ni Go. Sunny Go.
This was all pointed out in SBS and got a sweating response from Oda.

Yamato is disqualified from joining the crew because there is no way to read Inu as 2 9. Her fruit does not fit into the Sunny Go Equation.
My day just keeps on getting better and better :finally:
Totally forgot about this theory lol thanks for the reminder :yearight:

@Le Fishe D. Crydo found this lore on which wano seems to be based off of: https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/for...-wano-from-the-okami-lore.15881/#post-1647959

so if yamato isnt joining the crew, is yamato gonna die in this arc?

They are saying now saying Kaido is a Japanese ogre with that "Momotarou" thing or whatever 😂😂😂
They forget that Japanese ogre also terrorise the living (like Kaido does) and only way to free them from their immortality is the Great Lord ENMA.

PS. "Onigiri" translates to "Ogre cutter"
Can't tell if you're being disingenuous or you're simply unaware of that theory because you're a new reader

True as well, and Oda has a track record of taking inspiration without sticking to it 100%, nevertheless the parallel with white wolf, oni and so in is peculiar.
The thing is that, in my opinion at least, there are 3 other ways this could be approach by Oda
-He wont follow it at all since he did the same with the other mythical zoan's mythologies
-He will only follow certain parts of it, since others don't make sense in the context of the story(like how in the myth Yamato orders the wolf to stay, but in one piece Yamato and the wolf are the same)
-He already did the myth in a way, she herself stated that she also stayed on Wano all these years waiting for the opportunity to fight for it as Oden, so that check box is already marked
