Speculations Why Brook VS Who's-Who and Jimbei VS Jack is still a possibility

Possibly, but it might honestly take a bit longer. I feel like its gonna go like this for now:
- 1021: Rest of Robin's fight (whether or not Black Maria is done is up to Oda), more than half the chapter. Brook defeats the fodder in 1 double spread. Again, if the fight ends without Black Maria looking fully defeated (laying unconscious on the floor with Robin proclaiming she won, I have reason to doubt). Rest of the chapter will be a full update on Zoro and his direction. Personally i think this will lead him to King and have Marco head to Kaido.
- 1022-1024: Updates on all of the fights/moments. Zoro vs King, Sanji vs Queen, whatever is happening to Chopper, Inu vs Jack, F6 updates, Neko vs Pero, Kid/Law vs BM, Killer vs Hawkins, Drake vs Apoo, Raizo vs Fukurokuju, and whereabouts of Izo, Kawamatsu, and Denjiro. Here is where will potentially know if the F6 are down or not. Maybe Jinbe's last attack against WsW breaks the floor, while whatever attack Jack performs breaks the ceiling. What I'm describing here probably will be spread out over multiple chapters anyway, so it could take far longer.
- 102X/I have no idea: Maaaaaybe shows Brook matching against WsW, while Jinbe begins a second fight against Jack. Maybe Sasaki and BM aren't down either, prompting further battles for Franky and Robin. Maaaaaaaaaaaaybe Ulti and P1 aren't down either and we get a chapter or 2 for Nami and Usopp eventually lol. MAAAAAAAAAYBE the 1-3 Numbers are actually competent (or just the 1 Number) and it gives Chopper something to do.
Lots to do, lots of speculation. I just hope that insofar, Brook, Usopp and Chopper aren't fucked over and get decent moments/fights. So far Nami has only received a powerup. Jinbe/Franky so far have not. Looks like Robin will considering what she's doing right now is actually new.

I'd hold off on claiming this just yet, same with Franky vs Sasaki. Seriously, go back to every fight in the series. All fights end with "don" moment of the enemy's unconscious body and the strawhat proclaiming a victory. Both Sasaki and WsW didn't receive these moments. No closeup of Esther's body on the ground. No narration to say they won. No personal reflection of victory.
There is a "slight" argument for Jinbe because it does show a closeup to his face with a "don", but the chapter ends and it does not show the aftermath. Franky's literally transitions away mid chapter before we can see aftermath as well.
Give it a few more chapters. It's good to keep an open mind about this stuff. If it's done, it's done, but if it's not, it's good that people can expect it.

The sword was not really integral to Sasaki's defeat. The last 2 things Franky did against Sasaki were 2 old moves used as early as FI/Punk Hazard.
I doubt it. Jack hasn't shown hybrid and Inu exhausted Sulong. Hell, Oda showed Queen's hybrid before he showed off Jack's, which points to the idea that Jack isn't fighting his destined opponent yet, unlike Queen who is facing Sanji now

I think they’re done and in a few chapters we’ll see the Tobi Roppo being defeated told to the people of onigashima.

These seem to be the legitimate fights and honestly I’d rather see brook fight number nine then Jinbes left overs.

At full health inu wasn’t able to beat base jack for 5 days while switching out with Neko. You think an injured inu can beat Jack? Nah

Brook vs Who's Who to me just feels like a forced fight, Brook vs Apoo at least makes a bit more sense and imo it also sounds better.
To be cynical, I'm failing to see how Inu can't fight Jack but Usopp can. It's already a stretch beyond the imagination that he can handle Page 1 if he gets back up, and thats what most people are in fact suggesting happens.
Granted....they are on the same floor, and it is very in line with his character to have something outrageous happen where he wins something thst ridiculous. So I won't discount it I guess yet lol

Usopp recently just mentioned that he’s jealous of Nami and Tamas abilities.
Remember Chu is a fishman who was a terrifying and powerful fighter but Usopp was able to beat him. I can imagine something similar with Usopp getting a new power up with his Kabuto (I’m guessing Orochis fruit) then fighting Kaidos number 3.

Oh I agree thst Usopp needs a growth moment. I just question who it's against.
If it's Jack, it's going to be hilarious how he wins (which I'm not complaining), but hopefully it's utilized in a way that accents abilities he already has. Usopp hasn't shown observation Haki since Dressrosa, so I'd love to see that again, on top of whatever he "can" do to Jack, which would probably result in some outrageous, circumstantial way of winning, only because he is a billion beri pirate.
I agree though, it is very in line with Oda to do something like that, only because it's totally an Usopp thing to do. We'll see what happens with Jack.
Again, my hope is that Brook, Usopp and Chopper aren't played out of good matchups/moments/growth. Certainly Brook matching against a Number isn't leaving me hopeful. Kunyun is not a main villain, nor has she received any notable focus this far in the arc. Same as the other 5 numbers who've been 1 shot. The only thing that leaves me hope is that one of the 1-3 Numbers is at least competent and does receive some focus, but we'll see because Apoo was mainly the person in charge of controlling them.

I fail to see why would Oda give versus chapter names for fights that are not wrapping up in the same volume... He has never done this.
So yeah I don't believe brook will fight Who's who and I also don't believe that these fights against the Tobbiroppo will go further than the end of this volume, which started a 1015. So more or less all those fights should be over by 1024 or 1025...
