Let's see how many times Saitama hit Boros with his normal punches;
1 normal punch wasn't enough, it just breaks Boros's armor and unleashes Boros's power.
--- Chapter 034
Boros is completely fine after taking a normal punch from Saitama.
Boros v Saitama - 13 pages gap,
--- Chapter 034
When we see Boros v Saitama next;
Saitama punched Boros again 2nd time, and Saitama says Boros is strong.
2 normal punches wasn't enough.
Saitama: ''Yeah. You're strong.''

Next chapter, Chapter 035.
After 18 pages gap,
--- Chapter 035
We see Boros vs Saitama;
Boros hurts Saitama;
When Saitama doesn't get hurt, his reaction is very casual like this;
Boros says he got a respond from Saitama in ONE's original series, he says he hurt Saitama;
Boros believes he can win; (against normal level of Saitama)
--- Chapter 036
And Boros can sense his opponents energy level, he sensed Saitama's unmeasurable energy earlier.
How powerful Boros can hit?
When Saitama first punched Boros, Boros only created a large hole on a single gigantic pillar of his gigantic Spaceship;
While the gigantic pillar is damaged, it's not destroyed entirely.
What happens when Boros hits Saitama?
Due to Boros's punch, Saitama gets ragdolled so hard that one of the gigantic pillars gets destroyed, and the another one gets damaged and Saitama creates a large hole, it's a superior feat that Saitama's first normal punch, which couldn't do same when it ragdolled Boros.
Saitama doesn't block or attack Boros this time,
He dodges Boros's attack right after this;
According to other sources, in Boros's next attack, Saitama is ''sort of clobbered'';
Boros's speed and power surprises Saitama;
Boros not only hurts him, he even blitzes a normal level Saitama, which is a feat that not even speedsters like Sonic or Flashy Flash could do.
Saitama states ''its almost a real fight'' ;
Saitama doesn't know and not sure if he can make the jump or not, Boros puts Saitama in a risky situation where Saitama needs to give his all;
Saitama: ''Can I make the jump? Am I really gonna do this?''
Then Saitama again uses his normal punch for the 3rd time against Boros.
3rd normal punch.
It's still not enough. Boros is obviously got hurt, but it's no where near close to getting finished, Boros wants even more from Saitama.
Boros: ''Ungh... Yes... You are indeed worth defeating!''
This time consecutive (combo) normal punches, I count at least 10 normal punches in this combo, and Boros already took 3 normal punches before.
It's still not enough.
Even after taking 3 normal punches + consecutive normal punches (around 10 normal punches) from Saitama, Boros still has the energy to wipe out the entire planet surface.
After the Serious Punch that blocks Boros's planetary energy blasts, only then Boros loses his strength, but still was able to talk and he still had his consciousness for a short time, which impresses even Saitama, and Saitama calls Boros ''really strong'', this is the second time Saitama calls Boros strong.
We also have Prime Garou vs Boros scale from ONE (original mangaka), that he says he doesn't know who would win between Prime Garou vs Boros.
ONE: ''Before, Boros was definitely the stronger one, but Garou is now a near-perfect monster. I don't really know. A good match... I do believe Garou is stronger in close combat where things like punches and kicks can generally be avoided.''
Prime Garou states that he is ''God level'' in ONE's original webcomic.
In short;
- Boros takes 3 normal punches, + consecutive normal punches (around + 10 normal punches) from Saitama and still has the power to erase surface of the planet.
- Saitama needed to use Serious Punch to block and finish Boros, who already previously used normal punches many times on Boros, who was weakened and damaged.
- Boros slightly hurts Saitama with his punches, other sources states Saitama is ''sort of clobbered''.
- Boros sends Saitama flying over a gigantic Spaceship pillar, while Saitama's normal punch didn't destroy the same gigantic pillar when he send Boros flying.
- Saitama not only once, twice says that Boros is ''strong''.
- Saitama states that it's ''almost a real fight'' between him and Boros.
- Prime Garou vs Boros is a good match and Prime Garou says he is ''God level''.
Boros's level is one of the closest to Saitama's normal fighting level, due to Saitama not being able to finish Boros with his several normal punches, and Boros being able to hurt Saitama a little and even sending him to moon where Saitama wasn't even sure that he could make the jump or not, Boros was powerful enough to put Saitama into that risky situation.
If we scale how powerful Saitama's 1 normal punch vs. top Dragon level beings (such as Orochi);
Saitama one-shots Orochi (the strongest monster in the association) with only 1 normal punch.
And in the new version, Saitama again one-shots Orochi with 1 normal punch;
He is not even serious, says it's just a lesson for splashing around in the tub, naked Saitama one-shots Orochi while taking a bath, and gets dressed after.
Considering that top Dragon level beings can beat other Dragon level beings with one-shot or low-diff, (such as when Dragon level Gouketsu beats Dragon level Bakuzan with ease and could one-shot him, or Fullpower Bang one-shots Dragon level Fuhrer Ugly and Gums, or when Flashy Flash beats Dragon level Hellfire blitzes and one-shots etc etc) the level difference between Boros / Prime Garou vs. the top Dragon level beings such as Orochi is just too big, and they would just get one-shot.
Boros and Prime Garou can one-shot even the top level Dragon level beings like Orochi without even using their full power. Which makes Boros and Prime Garou really close to God level or directly puts them on God level.
