My only peeve is that if Jinbe and Frankys fights are truly done, they didn't get into this depth at all with their battles. That's something I would have wanted to see more of. Hopefully Robin's finishes next chapter and maybe the battles go back in reverse order (1022/1023 is more Sasaki, 1023/1024 or 1025 is more WsW). Fights would be long, but it would be worth it in my eyes.

Very happy Robin is getting this. Just disappointed the first 2 fights didn't seem that in depth. Brook, Chopper and Usopp are also worrying me atm.

well Franky and Robin doesn't have something new , more or less Oda just wanted to show that their level is already high. Robin is different in this aspect so Oda wanted to show that she really learned something as she with Revos and I assume she will finish Black Maria in this chapter off. but who knows.

Oda is picking up the pace with things like that in the manga and leaving the anime to expand it.

He should have fought Ulti, not that gelaber we got from Nami/Usopp/Tama, or maybe Perospero since he became pretty close with Pedro, and also lost to Peros in WCI so this would serve as a round 2.

Hotei would have been a better Opponent but as you know Oda decided to make him Hyo's Hype Tool

If you think about it, Black Maria is a bit like Hawkins or Moriah. She uses others with her powers. The other SMILEs are part of her abilities. Brook took care of all the supplementary people, so Robin can focus on BM herself.
