No, Zoro doesn't have to fight every character that uses a sword, he could just go for the strongest sword user and defeat him thereby becoming the WSS.
There is a possibility that Mihawk thinks Shanks is stronger than Big Mom and just decided she wasn't worth the challenge.
Like I said, Big Mom rarely uses Napoleon cos everyone bar high and top tiers are worth the hassle.

Vista got pushed back a little by the clash wave whereas Mihawk stayed still.
The Vivre Card also states Vista jumping Mihawk despite knowing how powerful he is. If you use the anime as word of God, Mihawk asked Vista to show his fighting style to him, as if Mihawk's more interested in seeing this famous swordsman fights than slaying him.
Mihawk being the WSS and equal to Vista is a contradiction when you hav characters like Shanks who fight with swordsmanship, even if we go into no-true-swordsmanship territory.

There's nothing in that panel showing Vista was pushed back. Whatever you're pointing out isn't obvious to me. However I don't doubt mihawk could push him back.
When did Vista jump mihawk? This implies more than one person vs mihawk.
The anime also shows Vista relaxed and doesn't show mihawk pushing back Vista. Although my reference to the anime was to support my ideas I do recognize that it's not as good as the source material.
The shanks vs mihawk is a totally different subject which requires different evidence from the manga and sbs/vivre cards.
All in all you said a whole lot of drivel. I'm not really interested in this convo anymore tbh. I already debated it for several hours.
