Characters can fight for days when they are relatively close in strength. Marco was fighting against two characters on his level, and using his ability to slow the progression of Queens plague.

This is turning into the "SN Captain portrayal" all over. We all saw Luffy, Law and Kid standing next each other at times, attack in the same target and panels beside each other at the beginning of the war. Some believe that was proof those three were near on or near each other level and much stronger than Zoro. I've already explained CP9 members. Kaku grew stronger during his battle because he had to learn how to use his DF. That forced Zoro to grow even stronger. He gave Zoro a much more difficult fight at the end of the battle that he did at the beginning. If Oda wanted to show us Jabura and Kaku were near equal he wouldn't have to give Kaku a new power right before the battle.
