Nami vs Ulti: Was hardly even a fight

Jinbe vs WsW: Was a joke of a fight

Franky vs Sasaki: Actually decent, but way too short, and Franky didn’t show anything new

Robin vs Maria: Decent, but still rushed. Black Maria’s 2nd Zoan form got cancelled

Why does Luffy, Kiku, and Raizo vs Udon fodders get like 3 chapters in a row, but the SHs can’t have their fights last more than one full chapter? They haven’t had serious W’s in literally over 500 chapters…

Honestly I wouldn’t mind, though 10 chapters is a bit of an exaggeration. I think it’s better for the Wano arc to make the fights proportionally as long as the rest of the arc. Because the Act 1 and 2 filler took forever, the fights should last pretty long

Not really true. In addition to fighting off screen, each SH got about 2.5 straight chapters of fighting in Enies Lobby. In Wano, it was fighting off screen and one chapter of fighting.

Kinemon(other scabbards), Momo and Tama are the main reason Luffy is fighting Kaido, they have more relevance to the story than flying fodder.

As I said, it's not off panel if it's on panel. Like Franky scoring his first sword blow on Sasaki, for example.

And also, count again. Two Tobi Roppo were finished in the bulk of one chapter, but the othe three took more than one chapter.

They cant afford to lost sales anymore
So oda had to rush the battles and just focus to the story

Luffy is the main protag
So he always have the most page
Nami gets some lewd moments here and there to satisfy simps
And zoro being zoro

The weird things is sanji, how come oda/editor hate him so much he had to downgrade every sanji moment

Telling story >>>>> Writing Fight . even if story trash , yeah that is Oda. ı agree everyone . When Luffy arrive Wano , he has already had lots of reasons to fight kaido. But like PH childs , Dressrosa toys and rebecca , FI Shirohoshi , oda have to feel to write side characters to motivate Luffy and SHs. Tama and Otoka wiriting totally unnecessary. instead of them , we can read more fight chapters. but oda is same oda for 24 years.
