Honestly Onigashima should have been a separate arc from Wano like enies lobby was from water 7..... Cause I can honestly see this Onigashima portion of wano putting up a fight against Enies Lobby arc. As well as other pre time skip arcs.

What u mean?
They are the same thing as Water7/ Ennies Lobby. Oda even included a rescue mission to make it more clear.
Trying to recreate the peak of One Piece with a shittier version.
