Oh good, time for the yearly ridiculously early released chapter. Also merry Christmas everyone.

Mmmm, feed me colour spread Jinbei. Probably a troll by Oda and he's still not going to be on the next one until he's in the story again but I'll at least hope it means that'll be soon enough.

Translation felt a wee bit off to me so I'll be really looking forward to the official one, cause this is one that needs the best treatment.

Franky already having been invited to join the Pirate King's crew and probably not even remembering it because he was in a sulk and didn't pay any attention to them is hilarious.

Very interested in Bink's Sake being where Laugh Tale comes from. Will Bink turn out to be a Void Century fellow as well? And the appearance of Tequila Wolf again interests me. Obviously it shows the World Gov are enslaving people, but surely there's a purpose to it beyond that. Bridge over the Calm Belt?

The stuff with the prophecies is where I'm waiting for a better translation, cause it seems a bit too... blatant. Previously Oda's left there with some ambiguity with his prophecies but this seemingly just reveals to us openly what is going to happen, which is odd. Maybe just Neptune's wrongful assumption of what Sharly means, cause her having a panic attack over her later Strawhat prophecy when it just means he'll destroy the enterance (and fulfill Jinbei's dream) seems very over the top. Wonder who got the unimportant Poneglyph- I'm guessing it was given to Big Mom, and the residents of FI gave her it so she wouldn't look more closely and come for the actually important one.

Joy Boy seemingly confirmed creator of the Ancient Weapons, not a massive shock but still a big reveal.

Laughed at Roger's little troll face when he calls Oden scum. Again, interesting that Wano is already under industrialisation, because it's making Orochi more and more the heart of the problems there while Kaido is mostly just muscle. I think Oda might be doing that because in the end Kaido's going to be a bit of a tragic villain, but we'll see.

Final location of the last Road Poneglyph being Elbaf still seems likely (given I'm relatively certain God's Valley has been Buster Called to oblivion). Is Gaban the navigator given him seemingly being the one to map out where Laugh Tale is? The Roger Pirate who looks kind of like a woman with long blonde hair has been shown a lot, doubt it'll ever be dwelt on more than we've got with Seagull but I think we might at least find out his name.

Ussop is the next generation Buggy so much it's unreal. Like, he's actually the strongest parallel to anyone outside Luffy/Roger. Way more than your various Rayleigh and Scopper and Whitebeard and Oden guesses. Very interesting that Shanks does want to go to Laugh Tale and has failed. Makes me interested in his year in East Blue. Are we going to see that Shanks had basically given up until Luffy said whatever it was Roger said and sparked him back into life?

And who's the greatest pirate that ever lived that Roger got his title from? Again, this is one where I want to be sure of the translation. Rocks is the one that makes the most sense for now, unless it's a Void Century remnant and Joy Boy.

Speaking of- that last double page, damn. Now, Roger does look far too much like Mario there and it made me laugh, but I never expected the One Piece to be something that, after all the truth about the Void Century and so on is revealed, makes people laugh. Utterly baffled by what it is now. Probably a momento of Joy Boy of some kind- and Joy Boy is pretty clearly going to be a character extremely like Luffy. So I'd say we need to try and think- what would Luffy leave behind if there was a minor apocalypse? That's what One Piece probably is.

Anyway, flashback's again been brilliant. Next chapter the Roger Pirates will break up, not sure how much of that we'll see and how much will be left for Roger or Shanks' flashback. Probably ends with Oden back on Wano anyway. Quite hard to judge after that how long Oda will make Oden's fall be- the happy four years of him being Shogun will be skipped over fairly quickly I'd imagine, but Kaido taking over and killing him will take at least three chapters I'd say.

Soooo, talking about the Poneglyphs....

One was in Zou - Still there
One was in Wano - Still there (Kaido)
One was in WCI - Still there (Big Mom)
One was in FI - The one that's now missing.

Considering that FI became a WB territory I think WB hid the FI Poneglyphs, and the message that Marco gave to Neko is about that.

EDIT: Yes, I know that the second translation doesn't say anything about WB gifting a Poneglyphs to Roger, it's just a theory I'm making.

I think the FI Poneglyph is just a regular one. At least, that's how I read the chapter.

The oddly coloured one is the one Robin read, that's still at FI. That's the one with the information about Poseidon. The other one, that's no longer at FI, is the one that Oden said doesn't seem important. Why Oda changed their colours I don't know- probably to mark it as a Rio Poneglyph- but I don't think either is meant to be a Road Poneglyph.

Pedro the best mink  @RayanOO @K!NG HARA$H!MA @mad monk
Pedro has a chance to be still alive until proven otherwise (by showing Jinbe's team appear in Wano without him)

This scene teases again about Pedro's time to shine.
Unless Oda really does him dirty, by letting him "shined" literally in an explosion.
Or will he shine by coming back in Wano, and actually showing off his Sulong power?
Of course the latter statement fits "shining" more.

I'm not following, my understanding is that the one not considered important is the white one i.e., the Joy Boy apology (which is still there). The other one is a Road Poneglyph, the fourth (that's gone) The Poseidon info was written in the Skypiea Poneglyph and it said it was located in FI.

Nah, from what's this chapter says the Joy Boy apology one is the important one. Assuming the translation is right.

Oden says one doesn't seem important. Then Neptune says "yes, the other is an apology from a man named Joy Boy." So its the Joy Boy one that is the important Poneglyph.

Buggy got that disease because of his greed i think , only those who are not evil or greedy will get there. the world government knows for sure where is this island but they cannot go there because otherwise they will die , at least i think there is something there is a reason why they didn't arrive there in this long time , they know of its existence but instead of destroying it they are just trying to hide its existence and hinder the people from knowing its location.
to be honest i will not be surprised if at the end we will get a line like : those who has a pure heart are the only ones who are allowed to get to the island.
that disease has a huge importance to the story and i think why Luffy's crew are the only once who will be able to get there.
my question where are we gonna see Scopper again .

So you're saying that we did not see the 4th Road Poneglyph in this chapter?

Shanks doesn't have the ability to hear the voice of all things but Momo and his father has the ability, which means it is inherited form one of the parents , so that Dragon or his wife has the ability as well, if i have to bet i has to be Dragon since he seems to know so much as well.

Pedro is one of the best secondary character ever introduced : so badass, so much style, deep, awesome powers, personality, design etc etc.

But sadly I don't think he will come back.

On one hand I want him to come back because he is awesome.
On the other hand if he comes back it will be a bit bullshit to survive that explosion so I don't want.

I don’t think Buggy got sick by accident. If Oden writes it as “you’ll die if you get to that island” disease then maybe Roger didn’t wanted to burden the newbies like Buggy and Shanks with what they might find at their last destination. Just saying..:wellwell:
God Buggy was too busy dealing with some mortals that day, so he dropped any matter

Last poneglyph is in the lightning island at the start of the New World. The island Luffy wanted to go to from FI.

Buggy & Shanks (This is a prediction) are children of Celestial Dragons & their slaves/concubines. Shanks is the son of Im, that's why the Gorosei won't do anything to him. Roger took in Shanks & Buggy 38 years ago during the God Valley incident.
