Current Events A Decade of Zoro Propaganda Down the Toilet-How Zoro Himself Destroyed the Swordsmen Narrative

The scenario you proposed is that Zoro did better against Kaido than early Wano Luffy so somehow it translates to Zoro doing better against Roger when Zoro himself is probably gonna need a high diff against King, someone whom Roger probably low diffs at worst.
Don't see how those 2 scenarios are similar but you do you man, Zoro is stronger than Luffys goal you're right how can i not have seen it.
Yes, because Roger isnt an MC who is having 2 chapters long fights, Oda isnt spending that long on side characters, that's why Roger and all other side characters flex and neg diff some people for who the main characters need 2 chapters and higher difficulty.
However, that means nothing because Roger will lose to Zoro regardless of the difficulty that Roger/Zoro had vs King.

You still think Luffy's combat goal is Roger, a swordsman? Why do y'all want Luffy to be a swordsman when he isnt? Luffy's performance goal is Garp, a puncher, just like Luffy. When it comes to pirating achievements, that's where Roger might be Luffy goal and yet still isnt, because Luffy's pirating achievements will far surpass those of Roger.

And regarding Zoro, he is going to be the strongest character of all times, it is pointless to keep arguing against him. Even in this chapter, he let you all know, whatever means are necessary, he will win since the loss is never an option for someone who strives to be the strongest in the world. If you want to bet against the guy that you shouldnt bet against, you do you.

Regardless of how many times he gets put down he will always end up wining, in that regard then Luffy > Zoro and everyone else.

Its the same for you going 4th wall on me and saying Zoro is an MC( Luffy is MC x10) and needs 2 chapter long fights to win, well Luffy needs shenanigans to win too.

What is God Mode again?
No, Luffy is losing over and over. Zoro isnt losing, he keeps winning. Zoro>everyone else.
God Mode? Demon God Asura, the 9 sword style rings a bell?

What the flying fuck are you talking about? Fujitora is a swordsman and uses his DF in fights. Kaku is a swordsman and uses his DF in fights. Shillew will use his DF when he faces Zoro. The only straight foward Swordsman Zoro ever faced was Ryuma.
It's like I said, if KAKU has a DF and a sword, and considers himself a swordsman, he will be a swordsman, just like the other DF users shown in the manga who call themselves swordsmen even though they have a DF, he doesn't. I abandoned your style.

BIG MOM has a sword, and a DF and does not declare itself a swordsman, if Mihawk vs BIG MOM happens, it will be a normal fight, not a swordsman versus swordsman fight.

It will be a fight of a swordsman versus another person of a different fighting class.

I don't know why it's so worrying that KAKU is using DF...

Even if he is not a swordsman, ZORO as a swordsman needs to compete with different types of combat, punches, kicks, punches + kicks, purely DF users, he needs to be able to do that, or else the swordsman class will be down.
But the point is: ZORO won't always beat someone who's from another fight category, like Mihawk, his WSS title doesn't apply to that, and what KING versus ZORO is showing us is this...

The point is that in ONE PIECE, there are fight combos that are dangerous, for example those of BIG MOM, KAIDO, SHANKS with his COC, Kizaru with his DF, FUJITORA with his DF, and not always the swordsmen will purely compete against these combat modalities as well, I believe there is a gap.

This is true and they are people like Fuji who do.
KAIDO > MIHAWK > FUJI :kata:

Agreed Kaido is top 1, Mihawk top 3. Lmao why did you try to sneak CoC in their. Thats not a fighting style or anything. Shanks does not have a DF he not in the category you talking about. Just like CoA, CoC can just go on your sword.

Hey man i like you but I heavily disagree with you saying that Zoro is going to be stronger than the MAIN character of the story in a shounen. You’re passionate i’ll give you that.

Side note: Do you think someone never struggling or going on a heroes journey and growing with us is boring or not?

I don’t see how that contradicts what he says. Yeah let’s all just say random shit and pretend it’s a passable argument.
i mean zoro said if he need he will bite king honestly kick and punch more fair than biting so is he swordman or not?
personally i think it depend on if they consider them self swordman or not but again if mihawk lise to some one that use sword and won't consider him/her self swordman won't make a different he will lose his title to him / her

It's ok to disagree but eventually, you will notice that Luffy isnt created to achieve what Zoro is supposed to.
Luffy is pursuing other things, not strength like Zoro.
You mean Zoro? Seems like he is struggling plenty and with 2x pain incoming we are gonna see hell on earth.

Luffy is pursuing Freedom and Freedom= Strength. To be the freest man is to be the strongest.

Luffy is pursuing Freedom and Freedom= Strength. To be the freest man is to be the strongest.
And Zoro is pursuing strength and strength only, the strongest in the world and already has been shown protecting Luffy on the rooftop, not the other way around. Even Luffy himself said that Zoro can pull through anything... Freedom also comes from having Zoro on his side.

The funny part is, is that it was clear to the masses ever since Zoro and Mihawks first encounter where Mihawk explicitly talked about Zoro's "Skills with a Sword." in reference to Zoro challenging him. It's mind boggling to see people still trying to argue against it, after Oda gave us a definitive answer this chapter. Just because you carry a Sword, it doesn't make you a Swordsman. What makes you a Swordsman is your stance on sticking to your skill with a blade in combat. It was King's stance on not caring about traditional Skills and technique, that made Zoro surmise that he is not a Swordsman.

Correction, The Strongest Swordsman in the world.

Yeah I feel like everyone reaches this conclusion naturally, but nobody would’ve ever reached the conclusion that everyone who carries is a sword is a swordsman unless they came to the internet and we’re propagandized lol.

Yes, not everyone who uses a sword is a swordsman.

Yet, at the same time, a confirmation of that doesn't mean that literally everyone with a sword is not a swordsman. That's absolutely retarded.

If your abilities are centered around swords- you have no additional special abilities, weapons, DF, hax, etc etc, then you're pretty much a swordsman. Shanks is a prime example. And no, haki is part of being a swordsman- CoA, CoO, or CoC. A sniper with CoO is still a sniper, not a hakiman. Luffy with CoC coating is still a rubber brawler, not a hakiman.

Using King, some dude with fire powers, DF, and a shapeshifting sword, to say that literally no one can be called a swordsman unless canonically confirmed is piss poor excuse and blatantly running from debates and discussions because you have nothing to deny them with.

With all that said, the ultimate deciding factor IS whether a person considers themselves swordsman or not. Though that doesn't mean we should not reach to logical conclusions regarding unconfirmed but heavily implied individuals. That's the point of having discussions.

If you want to push an agenda of "we'll call no one a swordsman now no matter what! No debates about it needed without canonical confirmation- and we shall assume everyone is a non-SM!" then it just shows you have no ground in any debate to begin with.
