It actually would make sense.
From Oda's comments about the series it seems Luffy is finding the One Piece not long after Wano and after finding it the WG would probably issue his next Bounty being bigger than Roger's and after finding OP Luffy is bringing down the WG who then won't exist to issue more bounty's for Luffy thus his final Bounty being issued after he reaches Laugh tale.

It definitely isn’t potential. He recognizes Luffy as worth because Luffy is stronger than everyone else that was there. It’s because Luffy is strong. If it was simply potential, Law, Kid, and Zoro might have been shown, because all of them have potential. Instead, what we got is Kaido walking away from Zoro’s strongest attack because it was nothing to him, and turning to someone he deemed worthy, because he was strong. That’s it. It’s not rocket science.

Yamato trained under the 3 legendary samurai. And one of them is Ushimaru (Zoro's father?).
This is way too much hype.
Man, I wouldn't even be surprised if Yamato is stronger than Sanji or maybe even Zoro as well.

I am using Zoro's feats from objective perspective and showing how they are undebatably better than Luffy's.
Sanji has no fucking feats and they rely on garbage like Chicken Wings of pirate king to elevate his status.
