His suit literally helped him he thought he would have died against king. We also saw his ass beaten in recent chapters and how its difficult to do something to king and queen. He has done zero damage to queen yet too.

The first Gura strike hit him in the head and didn't even have a tool on his state of consciousness. It's extremely unlikely that the second one would leave him paralized despite hitting the torso. As simple as that.
