Good reason for ZKk:

First story, Zoro is a samurai (non of the other character of the alliance with the potential to fight Kaido qualified as a samurai)
1) Zoro can cut Kaido
2) Zoro want to cut to pieces Kaido
3) Shimotsuki Clan lost 2 member to Kaido - which we know are connected to Zoro. During the esecution of one of them there is a cloud over Zoro which say no one was able to take kaido head in 20 years.
4) Zoro got enough AP and potential to scare Big Mom. She warned Kaido to dodge the attack - flying dragon blaze which cut 1 of the horn of Onigashima.
5) n this chapter is mention Shimotsuki Ushimaru but what is even more interesting is that Onimaru VC mention the following:
<<according to Onimaru, Shimotsuki Ushimaru actually tried to oppose Kaido after Oden's death but died trying
6) Kaido is waiting for a monstrous samurai to die
7) Zoro legacy in Wano is not strong enough to be the last Shomotsuki alive - Ryuma legagy is God Sword (he chopped a dragon over the capital).
8) The confrontation between Zoro&Kaido didnt have a proper closure.
9) Zoro VC,, Zoro's past has a deep connection with Wano Country, and he heads forward to Onigashima not just a Pirate Hunter, but as an Ogre exterminator. As one of the Worst Generation, he will be pivotal in the fight against the Emperors.
Now we know that Yamato is an Ogre princess - Kaido race (chapter 1024).

The point 9 is for me a 100% certain that Zoro will kill Kaido. there is no point for the guy that create the vivre card to state that Zoro role is not only a pirate hunter (which we know as a fact) but as an ogre exterminator. that is a very bolt decision for the Op staff to include. Why did they include that if there is nothing more between Zoro and Kaido? I doubt Zoro want to kill Yamato, so the only candidate left is Kaido.

He even has some personal family-related reason now (although wouldn't call it as strong as other hints)

Oda has been emphasizing on Momo's Dragon form, he will be holding Onigashima till Luffy defeats Kaidou.

Chopper found a way(as usual) to temporary heal his wounds so that he can fight king, the FIRST MATE OF THE BREATS PIRATES. Chopper then said that zoro will not be able to fight after the battle with king bc his treatment is as i said temporary.
So after all these+all the damage he will receive from King, do you actually believe that Zoro will find a way to somehow ignore his half dead state and actually go all the way and kill Kaido? It will be a feat if he is able to just stand on his feet.
ZKK WONT HAPPEN, the faster you deal with it the better.

It could be hints or oda just trolling. The reality is, that you all have created an entire story out of you headcannon. The only thing will happen, is luffy finding a way to somehow defeat kaido. Then you will all get displeased and start trashing oda like he deceived you or sth and thats pretty much it.
