Possibly, but I’m going to go out on a limb that these fights are about to mirror Alabastas by Monster trios opponents taking away their main forms of combat.

Kaido - Scales were too strong Luffy had to find a way to break through. Like Luffy couldn’t hit crocodile at first.
King - Takes Zoros swords so that the swordsman can’t cut him. Like how Zoro couldn’t cut Daz at first.
Queen - Infect himself with a plague so that the martial artist can’t touch him. Like how Sanji couldn’t kick Bon Clay.

So hopefully Zoros fight ends like his Daz fight ended with a badass one sword style attack and a flashback
