Bro in the very panel of King's slashes that I posted we see atleast a dozen fodders get mangled and cut up really bad by King's slashes. We see one slash from King go through a fodder and then through the building. We weren't shown any named character losing their limbs because Oda didn't want to show that to us that's all.

Instead he gave us Zoro interacting with that slash to show us the difference. This isn't Kaido slander, this is just King being slightly stronger at something that is Kaido's bonus ability.

Ofcourse he is using Haki here and so is King. Zoro coated his swords with haki multiple chapters ago and King is fighting that. No reason for both of them to stop using Haki mid fight. Oda is just inconsistent with haki hardening thats all. If that's the case Sanji has never used armament in the entire series but we both know that's false.
