Thanks for the info. I checked out the manga now, and I see it's still ongoing, however with a flexible schedule. Is it close to ending?
You welcome bro! It is close, as I said in my main post about DGM, but mangaka health problem is still real(so we have 4 chapters each year). Basically we are in the end of journey(there was no real jorney tho) part. Case right now half of mysteries and secrets will be revealed, and then final battle will start, with Three Days of Darkness and World End.

Naruto, JJK, and Gintama are personal favorites.
Other picks would be Death Note and HxH.

There only few mangas that can be compared to D. Gray Man: Berserk, HxH(maybe), JoJo(case it is legend);
While Naruto, Bleach, MHA, Toriko, BC, OP, OPMis right now not even close to be called as masterpiece. Ofc some manga have potential, other manga already was finished. But to put em as best? As masterpiece? This is too much at least for me.
I mean D Gray Mans good, but it’s not as good as you’re making it tbh. If that’s your kind of manga that’s your opinion but a masterpiece is a bit much lmao

It is...right now.
Before last arc I would call it great series, not just solid, but great. But last arc change things, case secrets started to be explaned to readers. And right now even rereading series have sence, case all that insane and crazy part that could break your mind has sence, case there was hints to that from the very begining. Now I'm going with spoilers, so better do not read if you don't catch upwith manga
Firstful, how about Allen Walker who became younger instead of becaming older. I mean we saw him 35 years ago...he was the scientist and give his body to Nea. But right now he is like 17 years old, and even Nea was shoked by the fact that Allen became younger.
Second, how about God damn End of world where Pillar of light actually destroy the world. And Noah family have those Pillar marks case they saw how Innocence destroy the world, and from Allen dream with Mana and World End we also knew that Pillar was also there. So it's not only Noah family destroying the world, but it seems that Innocence will destroy the world in the end, so no matter who win this war the world will be destroyed, and if you see how many people already died( I mean whole countries was oblivirated) it is obvious that in the end we will have maybe another Adam and Eva thing, where only few people will survive, so it will start from the very begining. I mean Lina saw dark water that flood whole world? And Red Moon with red sky....which remind me Three Days of Darkness thing...I believe there will be nothing left after shit like that.
Third. Mana+ Nea = Earl...and hint to that give us Jasdebi song
Fourth - unrevealed...we knew that Road Kamelot saw Allen in the circus...so she knew him, who he was...but than she pretended to lose memory or erased her memory?! There's something even more crazy going on, which involved her, Cross, Adult Allen and Earl ofc. And last one, why Allen give his body? I mean...he looked like Aizen, so man...maybe he had some crazy plan of becaming god like creature :D?!
I mean when you read last 50 chapters you just understand that Hoshino planned everything, and revelation is actually crushing your mind. While ofc depends on ending my rating could change. But I don't see even hint on bullshit AOT ending. So yeah, call D. Gray man right now not as masterpiece is clearly mistake.

Personally, i think Togashi is overrated. Manga is a visual medium that is supposed to represent the "show, not tell" approach. Hakusho was ok, HxH until Greed Island was great, after that it escaped him.

For me personally, these mangaka i would on the same pedestal for different reasons, so my personal top 10:

Urasawa
Harold Sakuishi
Inoue of course
Endo Hiroki
Sakamoto Shinichi
Mizukami Satoshi
Asano Inio
Murata
Mori Kaoru
Oda

Just wanted to ask if One Punch Man is worth reading? Thinking about picking up the first couple of volumes... want to known if its worth the investment.
@Cuistot answer.

I'd say yes. The art is amazing, the story is interesting, and it isn't the typical shonen story, as the protagonist starts as the strongest in the verse lmao.

I know we are on the One Piece forum and all but Togashi and Hara having fewer votes than Oda only shows either how low people's standards are or how simple-minded one manga readers they are.

Fucking astonishing.

Togashi and Muira
Yes exactly.

I add Gege too because he does an amazing job. You should dive into JJK you won't regret it.

Yeah, unique story, great protagonist that isn’t shoved down your throat, amazing art, action and side cast.
@Jaguark101 there you go.

The only minor issue I have with it is the redraws, however, that's something that's happening now and won't trouble you lol. Or you can buy the volumes so it won't be an issue at all.

Alright! I'll pick up the first 2 volumes soon! What do you mean by redraws? What's happening?

Why? Is the author changing plot points? Or does he want to just redo specific scenes etc.
Some scenes, but those scenes end up causing a chain of events that leads to other changes, and so on. I don't think plot points change or change much, though I'll be fair I haven't read them lmao, so @Cuistot lend me a hand here.

Ah I see... I'm assuming the changes are just confined to digital and that the physical release volumes have not been altered?
