I don't even get how it's an asspull. Sanji had a whole arc about his hidden lineage, was gifted a suit related to his scientific background, used the suit twice, felt weird the 2nd time, and is experiencing the changes now. The dude may use the suit again if he can't overcome Queen, which might actually have him full change.

To me this is really fucking consistent. Not sure how that's bad writing at all

Yeah, I'm not really surprised this happened but like I wrote above, I hate how his power has anything to do with Judge.

He's one of those characters like Flampe that deserve the absolute worst things in life.

So Sanji isn’t distracted or anything? Judging from the scans it looks like Sanji is fully aware and that Shocked expression he makes when Queen strangles him is hilarious,Leave it To Oda to Clown Sanji mid battle with Comedic relief Lmao.

I’m lowkey disappointed not gonna Lie,This just means that Sanji would have gotten done in if he didn’t had the germa powers which is in contrast as to how Oda built his character.I’m all in for the powerup don’t get me wrong just that he could have shown Sanji in better light not needing the germa powers to come up in Clutch that’s all.

the fact that that oda had to specifically set this snake thing up and had sanji been strangled just to show sanji's awakening and then for him to show his awakening he made queen shoot himself like an idiot twice lol
it could have been played in a different manner.. wouldn't have necessarily happened if oda wanted it to ... pretty plot-driven i must say

Queen had to resort to freakish tricks to subdue and strangle.. coz his hybrid literally couldn't do shit to sanji...
i won't deduce that sanji is directly inferior to Queen in competence or match for him in general since thats really not how he got his bones bent... it wasn't sanji getting overwhelmed by Queen's strength and then went on to awaken... it was some freaking trick that oda had sanji break his bones just to get the awakening straight..

They coulda used armament but like observation it isn't always shown or obvious at all

Probably because Sanji already has the exoeskeleton by the time Queen crushed him, so his body bent like Younji's, not hard that hard to see this.

Zoro hold the attack for 1 second, almost died, was put in a bandaged cross and couldn't move a finger, then the Mink drug was introduced so he could fight again
