There's nothing to be selective about. Queen has gags and scenes where people are meant to laugh at him/his reactions. Katakuri doesn't. It was meant to induce shock and stun the audience.

Katakuris merienda scene is a bigger gag than anything Smoothie has done whos the “YC2” of the BMP.

Marco is a much more jovial individual with a lot more humorous scene than Jozu.

Queens a humorous character. That’s just who he is. Him “shooting himself” was part Of his plan hence the “You’re done” line afterwards. Hes just an expressive dude.

A gag scene is something that is universally accepted to be a gag.

I donT see how else you can interpret katakuris donut song and jowels that go down to his stomach as anything otHer than a gag.

Jozu and Vista: no difference
Cracker and Smoothie: no difference, can't use their bounties to compare them either because Crackers bounty is only of his biscuit soldier. WG doesn't know the real Cracker.

That is a terrible way to define something as a gag since everyone has different interpretations for every scene in the entire series

If you check reddit, discord, even on worstgen there are Sanji fans saying what Queen did this chapter isn't a gag and it's supposed to tie into Sanji unlocking his exoskeleton... does that mean it isn't a gag? No, it means they have a different interpretation of the scene.

Queen has one of the whackiest character designs in One Piece. King is a very serious character.
Smoothie is shown to be highly incompetent. That risk isnt taken with Katakuri.
Jozu got parasited by Mingo in Marineford, not Marco.
Even Sanji gets used as a hype tool for other characters and has worser gags than Zoro does.

These were the points I made. Him "shooting himself" is not my point at all. Nor did I talk about powerlevels. My point was Snake version Queen's body looked like a fleshlight and that's funny as all hell.

I'm saying people have different interpretations for everything in the series and I used Sanji and his fans as an example

My point is that you cannot determine whether something is a gag or not using something like how EVERYONE reacts to it because everyone has their own interpretation. I don't think there's a single thing in the entire series everyone sees the same way

Marco wasn't casually parasited by Mingo. He was taken out, by Kizaru nonetheless, when he got distracted by Whitebeard's heart attack. You should probably re read Marineford.

Still doesn't change the point. And no there's no need for a hype tool for Kizaru.
Sanji nosebleeding, Sanji's bounty poster having the wrong photo, Sanji's pervert gag. All those don't apply to Zoro and being directionally challenged isn't a bigger gag than this. These are off the top of my head.
