If the world government has their sights set on Wano then Momo truly can't leave to go on this fanmade political mission. It would be the exact same mistake Oden made, leaving while Wano is in danger. Between that, Yamato abandoning Momo again, and Sanji getting a huge powerup, 3 anti Yamato arguments died today.
Waiting for the Revolutionary Army to arrive at Wano and to kill more anti-Yamato arguments...

After Yamao's utterly underwhelming df reveal people were still holding out for her full zoan form reveal to be a moment that wasn't completely half assed. But Oda decided to make that moment an even more forgettable, every day occurrence. xD The only striking thing about it being how fucking hideous that canine rat looks.

It's extremely clear which transformation Oda was far, far more invested in making a big deal.
One's given all the significance of a future straw hat's first power reveal. The other literally couldn't be more bare bones if Oda tried.

The only interesting thing that come out Yamao's transformation is the similarity to another dog we've seen this arc.
Ushimaru was a Wano lord and he travelled around with a trusty canine companion at his side. This could be a nice parallel to Momo, future shogun, travelling around with his own canine in Yamao.

Just visually, Yamao and Onimaru are already extremely similar so I wonder if this was done intentionally. Not to mention that Yamao actually met Ushimaru in the cave and he looked after her.

What is the moral of the story

It's almost as if this was incredibly obvious to anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to the developing Marine + WG interest in Wano since the beginning of the arc.

For the record, obviously Yamao alone can't fight off the whole WG. That's never been what I imagined she'd do. The only way I see to feasibly attempt to defend against the subjugation would be if Wano had a large enough army to fight back against the entire org. Form the EoS allied nations army. Zou, FMI, Elbaf, long arms, Dressrosa, Alabasta, etc. All these nations that have suffered under the WG need to band together at some point before EoS. What better time than in the arc all about opening Wano's borders so that it can once again interact with the rest of the world? Not to mention the "great cleansing" on the horizon.

There's Momo, whose been on a coming of age story and has learned the importance of asking others for help. And Yamao, who deep down just wants to be accepted by the citizens of Wano and finally have some friends. These two will go together and ask for aid from all of these disconnected nations, making friends with them along the way and recruiting them to their cause.

There's literally nothing they can hope to do against the WG on their own. They need the support of others. And that's what this whole arc has been building up towards.

Momo and Yamao about to go on a trip around the world together, while the samurai that have now regained their spirits, scabbards, minks, converted beast pirates etc. try and hold out as long as possible, temporarily protecting Wano from the Marines so that their shogun can return bringing the essential allies and resources to the country.

After the current WG fleet gets taken out, it'll buy a bit of time before they try again.

If they can temporarily hold off the World Gov forces long enough for Yamato to go on an entirely redundant journey around the world to meet a load of people Luffy has already allied with, they can hold off long enough for her to go with him on the world changing trip to Laugh Tale.

You're talking from the perspective of a reader that knows the long term direction of the story instead of what the characters themselves know.

How does Yamao know Luffy's trip to Laugh Tale will change the world? That's never once been mentioned in Oden's comments or journal. All his emphasis was on how absolutely essential it was to open the borders of Wano and reconnect with the outside world. Hardly a redundant journey.

rayleigh said, that whatever fine on laugh tales they will fine a different conclusion than roger pirates did. Even when whitebeard died who ever discover one piece there will be huge war that come afterwards. As well dawn is often mention by Yamato instead of carrot.

She’s the daughter of a Yonko and has read Oden’s journal, knows all about the dawn and so on, are we really going to pretend that she’s somehow unaware of how important Laugh Tale is?
That's not what I said. Everyone knows how important Laugh Tale is. I asked how does Yamao know that Luffy is on a journey that will change the world? Luffy and the crew are just looking for treasure. Jinbe and Robin are the only ones with a real understanding of just important their journey truly is and how the world will change from it.

Whilst Yamao knows Luffy is the man Oden was waiting for to beat Kaido since Oden put that in the journal, that's as far as her statements have gone. Post a panel akin to these for Yamao.
The only thing Yamao's said regarding the world and the new dawn is of course Momo related.
So using your own logic from your original point, Yamao knows Momo has an imperative mission to change the world by guiding it to the dawn, so why would she not go with him?

If she knows how gamechanging raftel is, world-wise,all the more reason as to why she can't join..
And the reason is the same as to why Rayleigh didn't let them know anything. They need to see for themselves some things and reach their own conclusion.
1.Oden's journal says too much if that's the case.
2.Yamato is following to a T what Oden has said.
