Where is the Wano's guardian who swore to protect the next shogun with their life is really needed
a) A near yonkou level crew where the only role she can fulfill is that of a fighter, role already filled by Zoro.
b) A starving and in ruin Wano with an unexperienced shogun directly under the threat of the WG where the strongest fighters are YC3 level at best.

Yamato won't help the straw hats achieve their journey faster or anything, she has no useful skills. Powerlevel is something that can be easily filled with allies, which SHs make every arc.

But Momo? He needs help. And while scabbards are brave they're simply nowhere near Yamato level.

But somehow Oda will subvert this and make the dog guardian abandon the post even after putting l flashbacks showing how she genuinely has connection with the people of this the place and even implied a desire to be seen as one of them.
Yamato doesn't only want to see the World, she wants to protect and free Wano, and this chapter confirmed that unlike what it could have been believed, kicking Kaido out doesn't mean the country will be in peace.

People keeps bringing the Oden parallel, but Oden filled an actual role on Roger ship that allowed him to complete this journey. Robin fills that role for Luffy.

Do you think at the end of the arc Momo will just shout "Wano is now open" and all will be well? A country that has been isolated for 800 years won't just automatically have people flooding in as if by magic, so what's the deal in your opinion?

Also what do you think will be Momo's mission that is absolutely imperative and is the reason he can't die? Keeping in mind that Oden also had this same mission.

Yeah I was also thinking about this, the red herring here could be: people are asking whether Yamato is needed to stay in Wano to protect against the WG, when the truth of the situation is that the WG is making moves on Wano and Alabasta, and the only solution is to take the fight to them.

Countries and Major Cities with strong ties/favorability to Luffy:
- Arabasta
- Drum Kingdom
- Water 7
- Fishmen Island
- Dressrosa
- Kano Country
- ETC

This also ignores countries even in the real world have constant talk, diplomatic relationships, trade, etc with countries that they have many disagreements with.

Don't forget even Fishmen Island was/is protected by a Pirates Flag and still participates and deals with countries in the Reveire.

Its no issue.

Fishmen island protected by pirate flag because they are not connected with WG yet (because the letter from WG is being kept by hody's man). When reverie it is garp the marine hero who is escort them now. But yes FI is secretly protected by SHs too without WG knows

That's not what I said. Everyone knows how important Laugh Tale is. I asked how does Yamao know that Luffy is on a journey that will change the world? Luffy and the crew are just looking for treasure. Jinbe and Robin are the only ones with a real understanding of just important their journey truly is and how the world will change from it.

Whilst Yamao knows Luffy is the man Oden was waiting for to beat Kaido since Oden put that in the journal, that's as far as her statements have gone. Post a panel akin to these for Yamao.

The only thing Yamao's said regarding the world and the new dawn is of course Momo related.

So using your own logic from your original point, Yamao knows Momo has an imperative mission to change the world by guiding it to the dawn, so why would she not go with him?

Because Momo ain't Pirate King material. Yamato is only helping Momo because she read Oden's journal, but she ain't gonna shed tears for him like she did for Luffy. Your intentionally leaving that part out. Yamato only cares about Momo for the plot and the prophecy that Oden wrote in the journal, beyond that Yamato could give two shits about Momo. There is nothing that ties Yamato to Momo and even she herself knows and admits that. She ain't part of Toki's prophecy that pirates would come to liberate Wano 20 years in the future, she ain't one of Oden's scarrabs and retainers.

Its why she had the whole Oden gimmick in the first place. And the reason why she wants to help Momo in the first place is because of her own selfish desire to do something important in the take down of Kaido, all because of a promise she gave to the samurai that she was locked up in together that they paid their lives for to keep her alive and free her so she can take part in the take down of Kaido.

Oda spelled out exactly what he's gonna to with Yamato this arc in chapter 1024:

First she's gonna help the alliance fight and defeat Kaido, keeping her promise to the samurai.

Then she will head out to sea to get stronger, and she can only do that by joining Luffy's crew.

Your also forgetting this panel, you can harp on all the Oden Momo wanking you like, there isn't a single panel like this where Yamato is bought to tears by just Luffy's words.

Compare that to Yamato bonking Momo on the head, and you see the stark difference in respect that Yamato has for Luffy compared to Momo.

Yamato dares to give Momo orders then immediately abandons him again, like she had before when she left Momo and Shinobu alone.

She even oversteps Momo's discontent of Luffy's orders and is directly helping Luffy by forcing Momo to do what's he's told by Luffy at Momo's displeasure.

All the while, not once has Yamato defied Luffy's orders

Yamato respects the prophecy, not Momo, its not the same kind nor level of respect that Yamato has for Luffy, not even close.
