Law is best suited for support. I don't think Law in a 1v1 is particularly strong.
Law is amazing support but he's not weak individually either. Like if you had to choose between 2 characters of the exact same overall strength 1 of them being law 9/10 hed be the better help
Tho hes still likley not far off from kid at worst being a high diff fight for him tho still weaker

Fair enough. I agree not using an ability in a particular instance doesn't prove you don't have that ability. It's just that I felt like it's worth noting that Kid and Law awakening their abilities during their fight with BM goes in line with them not using them at top the roof.

Do you think Luffy will awaken his powers in this fight? Wouldn't that be too OP considering how Luffy's already strong enough to challenge Kaido in base?
No awakening and no gear 5 for luffy in this arc just an new G4th form

Nah, Oda'll keep Law and Kid even till the end. Doffy has CoC, Hancock has CoC. Heck even Ulti has it (yes she has OP TC and anime confirmed it) So... basic CoC isn't that much of a threat at all.
Ulti doesn’t have Conquerors haki. Vivre card already confirmed that...

Anyway I think you’re underestimating the importance of Oda giving CoC to Luffy and Kidd but not Law. I believe the gap between Kidd and Law is like the gap Zoro and Sanji with Kidd being the Zoro and Law being the Sanji

I actually think Kidd would be weaker than Law because of how their DF counters each other. Law can swap himself or other people with objects and Kidd is reliant on objects (metal). Law could just continuously swap himself or Kid with metallic objects and keep sucker punching him.

Well I guess this pretty much confirms that Kid and Law will not defeat Big Mom by themselves unless she will lose to their last ditch awakening effort here, which I don't put past Oda to do to Big Mom.

Kid and Law can only use their awakening for very short period of time, they will need to train it looks like.
It doesn't really confirm anything. Zoro's used his "last resort" on the roof and is now currently in a growth fight with King. Nothing really supports them losing this battle. Oda can just have them use awakening, damage her, have her use it herself, then have Kid come back with some insane new buttcheek spreading power that defeats her. It's really not that outlandish at this point. The last chapter with Hawkins tarot card and this chapter's title should make it very obvious its about her and Kaido losing to their opponents.

Kanjuro's fire demon > Ace ???

:risicheck:
Oda making Ace irrelevant with every passing chapter lmfao

yes superficial damage because it didn't even negatively affects Kaido and zolo's best finishing can only deal superficial damage meanwhile Luffy has yet to use his best finishing move(same can be said for Law and Kidd)

vitality doesn't decrease the attack power potency in the series ever:suresure:
Zoro's attack not only scarred Kaido it caused him to start breathing heavy and huffing. He wasn't huffing before.

Yes, Zoro did that.

The scar he gave Kaido means Kaido has a injury that can be agitated or taken advantage later on. You can try to downplay it all you want by calling it a superficial injury but the truth is nobody else's been able to repeat Zoro's feat.

You don't understand how attack power, injury or endurance works. A character strongest attack will always be their strongest attack at the time they use it. That means if they use it at 100% it is their Strongest attack. If they use at 20% it's still their strongest attack because their second strongest attack is still going to be only at 20% strength.

When Luffy used his strongest attack to defeat Doffy both of them were in a weakened state.

Zoro is a character that uses incredible physical strength with his attacks. With 20-30 broken bones his physical strength would be greatly affected. Law didn't even think he should be able to move. That tells you how much weaker he was.

We know from the manga part Zoro's growth in Wano was increasing the control/size/strength of his barrier haki. That's beneficial because it allows the user to produce stronger attacks with less physical strength. IE: Zoro cut a cliff with barrier haki using only the physical strength needed to cut a tree.

An example of Zoro using his incredible strength with large powerful barrier haki was when he cut the Giant skull horn.

That attack cut the horn from that distance and shook the entire Island.

If Zoro wouldn't have been in a weakened state and could have used his full physical strength to further power up his Dead Man Game attack it would cause easily 2 to 3x more damage to Kaido. It would have either defeated him or dropped his strength by over 70%.

I don't view the conqueror haki clash as some kind of "base" Luffy vs Kaido. Conqueror haki is a testament to your overall strength and the advanced Haki version works like a force field. Kaido and Luffy are just clashing with their respective force field / advanced Haki. In terms of physical stats, Kaido is vastly superior

Well I won't say it can't happen, I can see that playing out but what we do know, is that Kid awakening and Law awakening is the only way they can damage Big Mom so either Oda extends their time with its use or they drop Big Mom in quick enough time, we gotta see how much damage she incur in the long run.
