Whatever happens, Oda loses something in both cases.
Either a yonkou goes down in a really garbage way.
Either Law and Kidd lose & BM finishes them off, which is honestly a bigger loss. They just awakened their DF's and especially Law needs closure on his powers (like Doffy alluded to). His hidden ability will be significant for the next lore dump.
Kidd on the other hand still has room to grow with his CoC (no pun intended) and, if he beats BM, will finally get feats and portrayal.

Kidd powers is magnetism - basically turning himself to a magnet similar to how Kata turn himself to moshi.
Awakening for Kidd should have been him turning his surroundings into magnets similar to how Kata turn the surrounding into moshi. That's the logical thing that shoud've happened, not making people into magnets not mentioning that BM's Haki is too strong to begin with, it shoud've have stopped that from happening. I agree with this take.
It's way too soon for Law to learn AdCOC, he cannot even use basic COC until now... or at least that's what I assume.
Kid unlocking AdCOC makes much more sense, especially given the fact that he got several parallels to Luffy in this whole arc. Kaido mentioned their COC when he destroyed them both, then their training on Udon, finally Luffy was the first one who unlocked AdCOC, now Kid is next.
