It was not in a flavorless game though. We had some thing like blonde hair, male, magic powers.
So it works, people do ask for claims regardless though. But it doesnt rule out if the person was scum cause there were townies blonde hair, male, magic user as an example.

But if you go flavorless, if you make up a story of your own you avoid that. And then traits are equal to everyone and one player doesn't have an unfair advantage over the other
likewise whole CLAIM NOW is also negated a bit. Cause if you go flavorless there is no way someone can know if the character should be good or bad based on their name alone. Yes claiming helps but it isn't as hardcore as in flavor games
Flavourless im not sure how it would work but im thinking maybe like the RPG mafia game that Nitty hosted before maybe? Traits would be using an axe or a sword or a staff etc.
Let's say i create a character called Maxim
Maxim is tall, blonde hair, scar over his right eye, uses a greatsword and has knights armor. He is vigilant, stalwart, proud and humble.
Now in the game if i ask you to claim, you claim that. Since i have 0 flavor knowledge i can't know shit based on what you said, but likewise if i investigate you and know some traits i can perform actions to confirm if you are indeed what you say you are.
So flavourless games still have flavor, but the flavor only known the host which then forces players to depend on their detective skills rather than flavor knowledge
