If Lunarians have extra abilities outsids of fire manipulation, ofcourse this is right.

But you see the comparision to Giants and Fishmen, both known for their physical strengths. And we can see that King is really strong physically as well.

When people read too much into the manga. The whole purpose to that scene is to hype up King's race.

Besides, that's how most of Zoro's main battles work. His opponents have something unique about them he has to overcome to beat them. Not because they are stronger than him. We saw the same thing against Mr. 1 and Pica. I blame Oda for making Zoro too strong.

For sure strong pirates will have bigger bounties but is not 100% relative.
