Yeah, I fear that is the case. Moe has overtaken the industry for well over a decade now if not longer. It really changes the anime industry especially but manga too ofc and such.

Never gonna happen a movie will always have straw hats in it. Otherwise we would have great movie material, Red Hairs, Garp/Roger vs Xebec, Akainu vs Aokiji all these would work as novels or movies/specials that can't be drawn within the manga due to x reason.

But straw hats not being in a movie is just unlikely.
